Shamelessly ripping people off and unapologetic about it On 21/12/23 I ordered a shaking beef from Rolld Homebush. To my utter disappointment and disbelief the bowl was full of onions, cabbage and dried onions and few pieces of something that was supposed to be the beef. I was disgusted at the sight of it as it looked nothing as the shaking beef picture that they had advertised. I took it back and to my utter shock the owner told me its not going to look like the picture because “we put dehydrated beef in some water and microwave it so its not going to look like the picture”. He kept going “we are a franchise and every shop you go to you’ll get the same dehydrated beef. I can’t do anything to change this you can leave it here if you don’t like it“ . It was that simple for him and he was so comfortable with ripping people off, no remorse nothing and that baffled me. I was starving after work and just wanted to eat something before starting my Christmas shopping and all I was given were tons of onions - both dried and raw , and bits of dehydrated beef and rice. I couldn’t bring myself to have a bit. I dumped it all. This isn’t right. Makes me wonder about the quality of their food practices. Is their pho - instant pho with couple of pieces of raw beef? Appalling service and food. ...

It's absolutely amazing how I assumed you couldn't get severe food poisoning eating vegan food but this particular Roll'd fooled me, twice! First I got sick after ordering a Plant Based Lemongrass Chilli "Chicken" bánh mi last month which was only mild with slight diarrhea. Ok, so I held off coming back awhile.

The icing on the cake came when I ordered two low carb tofu soldier rice paper rolls on Thursday this week after work. It was under two hours and I threw up over 15 times and had 3 sessions of diarrhea. Towards the end, it was so bad, I went to Ryde Hospital emergency to ensure I was at least going to live.

Looking at the other reviews, this seems to be a common theme with Roll'd and from my experience, Top Ryde is not any better. If I had had to stay in Ryde Hospital longer then the three and a half hours I was there, I would have definitely filed a case against this nasty franchise establishment. I was sick as a dog, and what are you going to do about it? Yes, that's right, keep on poisoning people and...

I feel terrible coming on here to review this place. BUT I NEED TO ADVISE PEOPLE HOW BAD THE FOOD WAS. My friend ordered a salad which had 3 pieces of meat in it. The prawns were disgusting. They hardly looked like prawns. I ordered a chicken Banh Mi. There was 75% shredded Carrot, 1 small sliver of cucumber and 25% which I assume was chicken but resembled a science experiment gone wrong. The bread was chewy which means it was not fresh. It looked so disgusting and tasted equally disgusting. I also ordered the sweet potato chips which tasted like they were cooked in 20 yr old oil. Both my friend and I felt queasy after eating there. Never again will I go there.

Apologies for the negative review but shops should not be allowed to serve below standard food. This business has so many negative reviews and I can totally understand...

Very disappointed. I ordered a spicy beef noodles soup but got a regular beef noodles soup. I then told them that I got the wrong order, they then took the rare beef noodles bowl and returned with the same bowl with a bit of spicy sauce and called ‘spicy beef noodles soup?!!!’. I have had spicy beef noodles soup at other Rolld stores and know very well the toppings, and the broth for Spicy beef noodle soup, and this tastes nothing like what I ordered. I also tasted the beef in my soup is actually lemongrass beef?!!! This is frustrating as I feel like they just put whatever is available at the store in my soup, and expected me to not figure it out! Would never return here, and would tell my friends not to come and waste money here again. Very bad service with no apologies for taking wrong order.

Wanted something quick and easy for lunch so I came here to grab some rice paper rolls. I've ordered three rice paper rolls - low carb barramundi, garlic prawn and lemon grass beef. Overall, I enjoyed their rice paper rolls. However, the only thing is these rice paper rolls can easily come apart. I think their rice paper is a bit thin. As you can see from one of my pictures, my prawn rice paper rolls is already slightly ripped open. So when you take a bite into it, the fillings inside would just fall apart...a bit messy to eat like that. I've asked for hoisin dipping sauce for rice paper rolls. The packaging for their sauces are a pain to get to. Like it wouldn't even open properly when you try tearing into it!! Not very consumer friendly with their packaging...
