I love this place. The best donuts in Australia hands down. They pair the flavours of each donut just perfectly, making sure that everything is balanced. The dough is fresh, wonderfully cooked resulting in a soft and spongy texture with an amazing chewy crust. The place is immaculately clean and organised. You can tell just how proud the staff are of their donut shop. They have inside and outside seating. It's only a small donut shop so tables are limited. The staff are super cool. They are very helpfully, explaining the different choices of donuts and coffee available. They showed us a lot of respect, and were very patient while we pondered over our order. The coffee menu is simple. Black coffee or white coffee. No cappuccino. No chai latte. No mocha. Only cows milk. I like how simple it is. Why make it overly complicated? However I'm not a coffee drinker so I don't know if a coffee connoisseur would find this sacrilegious or not. They delivered our donuts to our table along with a glass of complimentary sparkling water. By far this place has the best service, product and interior that I've ever experienced.

This is a "premium" doughnut shop. The doughnuts look large and nice and there seems to be a reasonable turnover of people. There were no toilet facilities and no parking but it's right on the main road of Barangaroo, so that counts as appropriate disabled access. There was a small amount of indoor seating and a slightly larger area outdoors but I felt like this was more of a place where you would pick up your doughnuts and coffee and leave. As to my low rating; I personally didn't like their doughnuts but that doesn't mean that others will have the same opinion. There was nothing actually "wrong with them", they were just different. The doughnuts are not light and fluffy like krispy cremes or even mid-range and waxy like most places (doughnut king). I actually found the doughnuts to be quite "heavy" and bready. The dough part was quite porous and dry like a very sweet wholemeal bagel or bread roll. The filling was extremely runny, almost completely liquid. It's a different experience that won't appeal to everyone but give it a go anyway.

Shortstop Coffee & Donuts is a great spot for a weekend treat, offering excellent quality across both their coffee and donuts. It’s a little pricier than average, but the craftsmanship and flavours make it worthwhile. 🍩 Donuts: The donuts were delicious, with a creative range of flavours that went beyond the usual basics. Each one tasted fresh and well-made, and while the price was on the higher side, the quality felt worth it for an occasional indulgence. ☕ Coffee: The coffee was smooth and well-prepared, complete with nice latte art. Takeaway cups were solid, though it’s slightly odd that lids are self-serve from across the cafe — not a major issue, just a small quirk. 😊 Staff: The team were friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere even for takeout customers. 📍 Location: Conveniently located just off Barangaroo on a main road, it’s easy to reach and one of the few good coffee spots open on Sundays in the area. A quality stop for coffee and donuts — I’d happily return for another weekend takeaway.

Rude Staff , as I entered the shop , I walked straight to the Donut Racks to choose what donut to order but the Lady Staff stopped me before I reached the rack and told me that the donuts are all displayed where I can choose from in the Counter so I walked back and waited in the counter . While waiting for the other costumers to be served , the lady staff approached me and asked me if I have decided yet ..I was like ..whaaat..I haven't decided yet because I am waiting for the 2 customers ahead of me to be served so I can have a look of the donuts on display ..sigh.. a lady potential customer came while I was waiting and also walked straight to the donut racks ..the same rude experience , the lady staff stopped her ...lol so she just left the store and did not buy any thing .. if you don't want people to check the donuts in the racks then put a barricade so people would know that you don' t want to show the donuts in the racks..anwyay, I still bought a donut and a coffee and it's good except for that lady staff.. happened today...
