Hoping for a new cafe in Parramatta that was good. Unfortunately this isn't it. Had lunch. Took over 45 mins for food to be served. Service was terrible. Served a luke warm milkshake - milk wasn't cold- strange. Requested water - never received. Forgot cutlery - reminded three times. Had a beef burger - literally just a burger patty ( not a good one), definitely stale extraordinarily dry charcoal brioche bun single lettuce and tomato. Not a single side - $17 dollars I think. The schnitzel was undercooked. I mentioned politely to the owner who took it too the kitchen and offered something else. He the returned to tell me I was wrong and the pink translucent meat in the thickest part of the schnitzel was cooked and the bright red 1cm area I demonstrated was the "wing vein". I found this offensive as a doctor, chicken owner and home cook. Nobody should serve chicken like that undercooked with a low core temp and then return to justify to the patrons. I didn't even bother to explain to someone who came back to tell me I was wrong. It's just not food safe in a restaurant. Nonetheless that which I ate was tasteless. The granola was just ok. The chicken salad was ok. But made us wonder about food care and safety as that was cold chicken. Won't return here again even for a coffee. I have photos of it but won't lower myself. I summary, ridiculously over priced menu( there's breakfast item for $40 on here no joke ( breakfast buffet at the Intercontinental cost less), unsafe chicken, poor service, dodgey feeling atmosphere - I suspect most of the good reviews...

sixaintseven is an unassuming modern eatery, tucked away in one of📍Parramatta's quiet industrial and residential precincts. we got a range of unique dishes to try out 🫶
the tuna carpaccio with charcoal bread was a great start, thinly sliced fresh tuna in a bed of fragrant oil that practically melted in the mouth. a lil lighter on the olive oil would really let the freshness of the tuna shine through, but the charred bread did a great job mopping all that deliciousness up 🍞
i got a classic big brekky which had all my favourites (but swapped bacon for haloumi) 🍳 the creatively cut kransky was smoky and delicious, eggs perfectly soft scrambled, molten cherry tomatoes 🍅, crispy hash brown and sourdough... zero complaints, everything was perfect 🥰 my bf got the lemon garlic chicken which was also tender, flavourful, and rich. homestyle roasted veggies and a warm, zesty sauce had us both drooling for more 🤤
we finished up with a house special, atayef ✨️ middle eastern style pancakes stuffed with sweet clotted cream and dressed in orange blossom syrup and crushed pistachios. we adored this, as it wasn't overly sweet but had fantastic balance, and the orange blossom was so fragrant and perfectly paired with this dessert. love love love!!!

Couple years ago during covid time. I realise later that they charge me $8 for 2 piece of hashbrown.. I guess it might be mistake... Today I went there again to get coffee and banana bread while waiting for my bike get fix nearby... after 10 mins I didn't get my banana bread so I went to the counter and ask the girl. I saw the burn banana bread sitting near the toaster and they are eating it. They said will make a new one for me. Once its ready, they put in the paper bag and I ask if I can eat in the cafe, they said yes. However, no plate or fork offered so I just ask for a fork and they saw I ate on the paper bag and yet no one bother to clean the table. When I open the paper bag that's what I see...the burn banana bread. it's burn both sides and I was wondering whether this is normal how they would eat or serve to customer? Im a local in Parramatta and never had experience like this before. I can't be bother to wait for them to remake again as it seems to waste more time. they should have known their job better but hope this feedback help to improve the quality of...
