Sushi Man — Restaurant in Sydney

Went for lunch with my daughter. Food was ok, but the bill was $38 for a Udon set and chicken cucumber sushi. I didn't check the receipt properly - but they charged an extra $1 for substitution of avocado for cucumber and they didn't tell me it would cost extra. Plus they had charged an extra $4 for "extra beef" which I didn't order. So, $5 over the standard price. Very disappointed with their sneaky additional costs, so please always check your receipt at time...

I was in Balmain with my daughter at 4pm and there wasn’t a lot to choose from to get something to eat when I noticed the Sushi Man.

My daughter got her favourite avocado rolls and I got a really nice spicy chicken ramon.

My phone was low in battery and they were even nice enough to lend me their phone charger while I waited for an Uber to pick us up.

Great service, nice food and service so happy to give them 5 stars and a good review for...

Used to eat here religiously, stopped going recently as quality had dropped and staff were not as friendly as before. Went there for lunch today and noted the prices had gone up substantially with the set menu offerings changing for the worse.

With new competition such as sushi hub opening down the road, I think sushi man needs to mix menu and remain competitive on pricing or unfortunately they will lose dramatic...
