Tamp Espresso — Restaurant in Sydney

Do yourself a favour and go see the nice ladies across the street. My apprentice was sent up to Tamp for the lunch run today, like every day since starting a new renovation in the area. A card declined (we have since learnt this was due to the Telstra outage) and the barista had a dummy spit because she had already started making the coffee. He explained we were working in the area for the rest of the year and would sort it out the next day. But this wasn’t good enough. Granted, it’s probably a standard scam line but for a cup of coffee however her demeanour and approach was highly unprofessional and she could have explained her concern in a calm and dignified manner. I’ve been there ~4-5 times now and will continue to go back for their good coffee, great sandwiches, and friendly service. I’ve tried a few different sandwiches and I seem to be settling on the mushroom, pesto, halloumi sandwich. I totally recommend. I would have photos to post but by the time I’m out of my hungry stupor, I’ve finished everything.

WOOOOOOOOOOW!!!! Mushrooms and haloumi on sourdough!!!!!

Absolutely incredible 💯 perfectly toasted, fresh salad (that isn't just a layer), haloumi and a rather pleasantly surprising amount of shrooms. I do not know how to explain the satisfaction that I got from my first bite but as I am writing this the TAMPtation is there to go and get another. Oh and there is pesto as a general rule for me that's an avoid. But this sandwich OMG
