I recently enjoyed a flavorful Indian meal featuring lamb vindaloo, chicken tikka masala, saffron rice, and a mix of herb naan and cheese & garlic naan.
The Lamb Vindaloo delivered the bold and spicy punch it's known for. The lamb was tender and well-marinated, absorbing the sauce with a pleasant heat that lingered without overwhelming. The balance of spice and acidity was spot-on, perfect for those who enjoy a fiery kick. We had medium but will get the hot next time
The Chicken Tikka Masala was rich, creamy, and indulgent โ the chicken tikka masala was a comforting classic. The chicken pieces were succulent, charred slightly for that tandoori edge, and the tomato-based sauce was velvety with a slight sweetness. Fresh herbs on top added a nice touch of brightness. A little heavy on the onion though
The herb naan was fresh and soft with a subtle herby aroma, ideal for scooping up rich sauces. The cheese and garlic naan, however, was the standout โ indulgently cheesy with a strong garlic hit, it paired especially well with the tikka masala.
This was a well-rounded, satisfying meal with a harmonious mix of spice, richness, and texture. Each element complemented the others well. Highly recommended for lovers of classic Indian cuisine.

Minimalist decorations and pleasant atmosphere. The music wasnโt loud and obnoxious, which was great. A little quiet but it was Sunday and it was nice to be able to talk. Iโd love to see a little more mood lighting, I think that could add to the atmosphere a little more. Friendly, attentive service and owners.
We had the aloo Manar paneer and the veg biryani. Both had very authentic flavouring and lots of depth. The biryani was delicious.
Iโm coeliac so was very excited to see the menu is predominately gluten free. Were open, honest and accommodating for dietary requirement, and notifies you if unable to 100% guarantee traces of gluten. I am coeliac but sometimes have items that may contain things, others may not be so lenient. Great for gluten intolerance and There were vegan and vegetarian options that are also gf. I was so pleased with a gf naan, I can never find this in other restaurants (they did warn of cross contamination).
We will definitely be...

Every dish was lovely (ordered as medium). Everything was spicy but not overpowered with just chili. Everything tasted well and variedly spiced rather than overpowering of chilli, which often happens when you ask for more taste than your average aussie can handle.
We had to force feed the gulab jamain and pistachio kulfi to our hostess who loved the subtle tastes of cardamon seeds and the ice cream once she tries them. Yes, we do have a pudding stomach in reserve.
This start-up in the previous home of "Nitiks" is a proud successor and having met "Harry", our chef, I can thoroughly recommend both the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the premises (once you find the light for the...
