The Commercial Hotel — Restaurant in Sydney

Last night I was there.I want to rate this place 1/2(for refund) or zero if I could have.It was worst experience.Reasons: I'd mention last to first:

1.Security guard:I have friends of African origin.No racism but you would be the first 1,first dark guy who needs lightning in the darkness.I'd remember you all because of bad reasons(Moncol , Mancoal whatever his name was).'Hate' is the bad word which comes in my mind rn but I can't hate.I don't hate.You're fortunate I wasn't sober & I didn't respond to you about your behavior(Evn when I was drunk I understood everything like I do now when I'm sober,I also knew it even then in my drunk brain even if I had told you the truth that time to reveal your behavioral face you'd have easily stated me 'drunk'.With no further statement said.Halt.which I knew then,I never said things bcz time wasn't right but I still know this now when I am sober,you're a liar,you twist the fact you did last night.Tell you truth,You were not good as human (no judgments its my experience).May life teach you lesson.Don't pretend as if you really cared about me.Tell you what,you may not know but I had seen you before I even entered the building.I saw you dropping those two girls not sure if Co-workers or visitor girls(when she hugged) they were drunk too I know & you actually dropped them to the nearby signal to station(I respected you for that act then) while one of em shouted to you that 'I love you' & another one said,'All the people inside that place are wankers' in your response to some statement I don't hear(just so that if you remember?).I went there just to get drunk(with my soul),I caused no harm.Then, when she(Customer service bar attendant girl) sent you message(maybe) & you show up.Told me that I had enough.How much I can or cannot drink in the premises hiding the fact that they had a fly in their vodka,I told her get me another drink I never asked refund,I never had lost mind,I was calm that whole time,then you tried to cover it with a lie that I argued(I never did,Check your Cam footage & get your facts right if you are MAN enough,reveal the truth (which was your actual job as a Security Guard) & MOST IMPORTANTLY You are no one to tell me do not visit that place again.You don't own this earth.You could have sent me out if I was causing harm.I didn't even said a word to anyone Come on man?Learn to do your job right because if you really were that nice you'd have Done the same job as you did to the drunk girls (have some self respect).Why double standards?

2.Customer Service:I don't deny,they were okay with time it takes to serve a drink(which is normal atleast for drink)wrote it because I saw other review about timing complaints for food service but hold on who want to eat food with flies in there?)I'm not sure with food never would I be because I don't want to visit the place again,End.But yes you can if you want to.I'll make this one Short.I went in, I had a red wine first.Second, I had two glasses of vodka.When I asked for my last one.Let me make clear so that you guys don't judge me some alcoholic jerk.Only I know it.It won't make any sense no matter how much bs I write to prove myself & I don't need to.But still so that the readers(if any)know I had to catch my train after 3 long hours.I had it in my mindset that this would be my last one.I had to reach home on my own afterall.But it's(Commercial hotel)closer to the station so I thought it's better to stay there waiting(slow with last one,reading) rather than waiting on the station.Now the actual face of bad world starts,Counter Girl served me third one,I took it on my table,I saw a fly in my drink.I went back to her,I told her it got fly in it & please replace it you may charge for that.She also knew that it had a fly.She asked me if I need a refund.I said no bcz(I was thinking as long as if atleast they'd make it clean)it's okay you could charge it.But don't know whether she thought, dizzy I've lost it,her reaction wasn't nice.She knows it still No issues with you,Thxx.Thanks manager for refund.Google has word...

This pub is the most pathetic pub and pokie place I have ever been into! I went there with my partner and two other friends to unwind after work.

After having dinner at their bistro, we all decided to play and have a bit of a slap at the pokies area.

We were enjoying ourselves up until I realised, I spent and lost a little more than I should have, so I decided to stop for a bit and just wait for my partner to finish. So there I was minding my own business checking email on my phone whilst waiting for my Mrs, when the good for nothing security guard asked me to leave the premises if I wasn't playing the pokies.

Seriously!!??? I have just blown $700 dollars of my money in their pokies and there were only 6 people in the gaming area. I even told this dumb security guard that I am waiting for my Mrs to finish playing and he still kicked me out!!

Pathetic, unprofessional, and disgusting behaviour from their hired security, not to mention the bar girls flirting with patrons in the gaming area who are winning!!!

This experience has made me lose all my respect for this pub that I used to go to since I was legal to get into a pub. Never will I set foot into these...

Incredibly poor experience at this hotel. We had reserved a table for a group of friends to watch the Australian/Tunisian Football World Cup match on Saturday night, all of who bought food and drinks for a few hours prior to the game kicking off at 9pm.

We had asked bar staff to turn the sound on for the big screen which was showing the game, well in advance of kick off, and we kept getting fobbed off, as they were "too busy" doing other things. All staff were extremely rude, very dismissive and totally uninterested in trying to help with a simple request to have sound on the big screen for the match, that everyone in the bar was there to watch.

When booking a table, days in advance, there was no mention that there are issues with the sound on the TV, or that it wouldn't be on, and they even advertised on their website that there is "No better place to catch all the action!" Couldn't be further from the truth!!!

Utterly disappointing experience caused by uninterested, unprofessional bar staff and a poor venue who refused to deliver on what they advertise.
