My friend did a quick Google search and found this nice cute cafe in Parramatta. Not too far of a walk from the station or Westfields. Service is really top tier. Everyone who served us was really attentive and helpful with recommendations.

Sat at the outside table and really enjoyed having the Saturday lunch sun with the food and drinks.

Out of the recommendations. The crispy skin Barramundi was very delicious with the quinoa tabouli. It was very light and delicious. The fish was cooked well. Didn't find it dry at all, and with the skin, you can hear the crispness from dragging the fork from the top.

My friend had the Sujuk and eggs. Firstly, do not wear white while eating this. My friend had a very nice piece of crispy bread. Dripped it in the egg and sujuk, took a crunch, and ricochet the oil onto my white shirt. Regardless, I had a bite. I really enjoyed it. It is a bit filling but for lunch I think it was a nice choice. Would recommend it if you are feeling for a more heavy type meal.

With drinks, I had the horchata, which is the very white drink and a cold brew. My friend had the iced latte as seen with the coffee and milk split and the iced chai.

Horchata was light but not to my palette. Kind of just taste the rice, not sure if I am meant to taste something more.

The cold brew was nice. I'm not a coffee person, but this was very easy to drink. Couldn't taste the bitterness.

The iced chai I had a sip. Didn't feel like there was enough flavour with the chai. I might be a bit spoiled, but I my chai is typically a bit sweeter and rich.

Didn't try the iced latte, but presentation wise, it looks amazing.

Would I go back again? Yeah, I think it's a really nice Cafe to go to, especially in the heart of parramatta.

It's a bit pricey to eat there, but it being parramatta and Cafe food seem reasonable for the price.

Would be keen to try other...

I personally reckon this is the brunch place to be in Parramatta. I'm always looking for brunch menus that take the risk to go beyond eggs benny on toast. Circa goes for it and comes out on the other end winning.

Ottoman eggs, their signature, features a fried eggplant that's luscious, a brilliant labne, and a focaccia that's one of the most enjoyable I've had, fresh and heavily perfumed with herbs while retaining a beautiful bread flavour The dish is lovely textures of cream, crisp, chewy. Really nothing quite like this one out there. One thing to note is that their salting is on the high side (as in you can taste the salt) which I think is justified, but might not be for everyone.

The smoked duck is a collection of roasted veg and a duck with the smoke fully infused in the meat. Simply put, if you're a fan of the "Masterchef" style of balancing a dish - get your touch of sweet, touch of acid, bitters to give it interest - you'll find a lot to love here. The veg can be challenging owing to the bitter notes.

They had a drink called horchatta, which I really liked - if you enjoy a brewed rice drink (no fermenting as far as I could tell) you'll like it.

They don't take bookings and there's not a lot of free parking nearby so would recommend parking at Westfield and...

Circa is my favorite place for breakfast and coffee in Parra. They have high quality coffee ALL the time as their baristas seem to be on top of their game every time we go there. The breakfast options have a signature touch in each of the ones I’ve tried. It’s never your typical dish but it always tastes reallly good and their portions are quite filling. Very well-flavored food and lots of attention to detail. A tad more pricey than your typical cafes but you get what you pay for. The environment both outside and inside is very lively with their choice of design and friendly staff. The baked eggs with Sujuk is one of my favorite dishes there. It’s also my place of choice for a catch up coffee whenever any of my friends are passing through parramatta. The coffee is bold and beautiful. Their website mentions no tech allowed (laptops) because they encourage people to have the full circa experience. That I don’t necessarily agree with as I usually like that cafes have been utilized as work spaces, it encourages people to be more social when working and less isolated. They can put a minimum charge for tables using laptops if that is what worries them. Otherwise this cafe is in my top 3...
