We went there a week ago. I think one of the waiters forgot the restaurant etiquette when dealing with customers. Piece of advice, never ever remind your customers about the price. It's kind of belittling when the waiter told me "just to let you know that it's atleast $50 per person", which I answered "I don't mind". It's the way how he delivered it that made me felt so embarrased as I have visitors from overseas who are all professionals and doing good for a living. And to hear a very insensitive reminder like that, is not very pleasant at all. Not because my visitors are just wearing casual clothes/ t-shirt and shorts doesn't mean that we can not afford. Please don't look at the colour/race, looks/appearance and the financial status of your customers. For all you know, your customers can be simple millionaires who can afford to pay a 1k plate. Imagine, only after almost half an hour of waiting outside, that the table was set, after he got the confirmation from me that i don't mind the price. You could have done it a little bit earlier instead of making us wait outside. All the while, there was a vacant space inside, as we did not see anyone leaving the restaurant. Not until I was approached by this waiter for the 2nd time that he decided to set the table. It won't hurt you to show a little respect to your customers. The food? I won't say it's the best, there's really nothing special, it's the typical Chinese food, authentic? yes. In general, it's ok. The service, that they need to improve if they want to stay in business. Please be sensitive when dealing with...

I went there once with my family and relatives from China. When we settled down we and were ordering the waiter had amazing manners and respect. After the food was served everything went fine the food was great until I found a hair wrapped to piece of meat. We immediately told a manager (there were 3 managers) that manager gave my relatives from China a dirty look just because we were wearing casual clothes and my relatives clothes were a bit dirty. That manager then argued angrily back it’s impossible that the hair was theirs, he then called another manager that also gave my relatives a dirty looks and no respect when talking to us. The 3rd manager came out who had better manners and had a respectful talk with us and didn’t give us dirty looks, he then offered cancel the meal with the hair payment of the bill. While the other 2 managers were still arguing that we put the hair in ourselves when we were eating and the waiter was looking around if any other table needed service and looked at us multiple times. HORRIBLE service other then 1 of the managers and the waiter. The 2 managers that argued with us were shooing us and asking us if we have finished the food yet in a annoyed voice, HORRIBLE SERVICE. WORSE SERVICE I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE TREATING MY FAMILY AND RELATIVES LIKE SH#T...

We dined here last week, and it was the worst fried rice we’ve ever had.

To preface, we’re from interstate, were really hungry, had a flight to catch after, and after eating out for the past few days, just wanted some comfort food. We quickly placed our order around 3:30-4pm after being told to decide in 5 minutes as the chefs had to go on break - this was understandable (although not stated anywhere on their website/onsite) and they said we could come back in half an hour if we couldn’t decide yet. But we were hungry and had to catch a flight soon, so we ordered!

We got the pineapple fried rice and spinach dish (as pictured). The spinach was fine, the rice however was not cooked, unseasoned and still runny - there was no wok flavour nor any flavour whatsoever. The prawn was raw and had a funny aftertaste. It really tasted microwaved, but for not long enough. The fried rice was barely lukewarm. Unfortunately, we were starving, so we quickly finished it, but made sure to tell the server of the horrible food experience. She apologised, and said next time that happens to immediately notify the staff. There will be no next time.

The total was around $60-70 (we paid cash so forgot the exact price). An incredibly disappointing experience for a restaurant located in such a beautiful...

We've been going here for years, today, we tried some dishes that we hadn't tried before. We got the salt and pepper eggplant and stir fried crocodile, it was so good. Our waiter recommended how to have it cooked, it was tender and had a nice bounce to it, it tastes like a mix between chicken and really fresh fish. XO pippies with fried vermicelli noodles is always a crowd pleaser, we asked for a lower spice level so that our 8 yr old could enjoy it as well, and he did. He raved about "the clams" and had 4 servings. The wasabi beef is a must, a big hit with the adult carnivores, and the salt and pepper quail is delicious to those who are more adventurous. The staff are attentive and offer to help serve the larger dishes so that everyone gets their own plate, but we opted to grab our own. You can sit inside or outside. We sat outside, watching Sydney foot traffic and enjoying the view. It rained for half an hour, but all the patrons seemed unaffected. Being outside is a trade-off, they do give you covers for the food "just in case", but we didn't use it and had no issues with seagulls.

Authentic Chinese in the middle of the harbour. I have been to this restaurant many times and the food and service is consistently good. Prices are reasonable. This is my preferred Chinese restaurant rather than those in the suburbs. We’ve been here for small family dinners and in large groups to entertain overseas visitors. We love the great views and atmosphere. But I am most impressed by the quality of the food. It appeals both to the ‘western’ and traditional Chinese palate. Tonight’s meal: the scallops, wasabi steak, stir fried kangaroo fillet, baby spinach, Shandong chicken, salt and pepper tofu and salted fish tofu hotpot were all excellent. The stir fried vegetables were fresh and crispy. Only the stir fried salmon was a little dry. The service is always good- staff are helpful, professional and friendly.
