What a disaster. I booked here for my hens night, for 18 people and a $69 set menu. Firstly- the events team are very difficult to contact and to work with. Initial huge red flag.
When we arrived there were not enough seats for our party, and when I asked about it, I was told to move things around myself. I did that, and got a talking to from other staff….
I asked 3 times for the air conditioning to be turned on in our area. It was sweltering.
Our mains started coming out, which is odd as starters should come first. When I asked about it I was told to be patient and the food was coming. My bridesmaid asked and was told them same thing. I asked again and was told to be patient. By this time it was 2.5 hours after the start of the event and people were hungry and kind of wanted to leave…. I finally spoke to the manager who told us we didn’t order starters when it’s obviously included in the set menu we ordered. We had to show them on the website.
The realised they made a massive mistake and suddenly went from rude and abrupt to apologetic…. At this time appetizers and desserts came out together around 10pm but it wasn’t what I had chosen for this event. So it was essentially a bunch of random food that we didn’t order. When I asked about it, they said they ran out of everything yesterday. Mind you, this event was booked 2 months in advance!
When I asked what was going to happen about this massive blunder, they gave some of us shots. Not really what we wanted. Too little, too late. If we were listened to initially this could have been avoided, instead of being fobbed off.
The tables weren’t cleared once, so all food was just piled over the top of other dirty plates and glasses. That was pretty gross.
It’s a shame because the food and cocktails are delicious but the service and management is a lot to be desired.
I would avoid for any kind of group booking. This is a beautiful venue but it’s not worth the stress of fighting with staff for what...

The atmosphere is amazing, the architectural design and decor is stunning but the service just wasn't
The bad service first started asking for water to share for the table and they gave us a pitcher, this was later taken away as they didn't have enough to share, this was understandable but we were barely topped up with water afterwards, while other tables beside us were
We ordered our entrees and they were delicious, then we ordered 5 mains to share
We waited half an hour but none of the food had come out, we asked when they would be ready and the waiter informed us that the order wasn't sent to the kitchen because of an IT issue, and that they have hand written the order down now, with a time estimate of 20 minutes.
We waited but I had to go outside the venue for fresh air as my asthma and sinuses was acting up from the poor ventilation, we were both restless by this point and felt ignored by the servers
Once I came back only the corn ribs had come out, it was delicious and we finished it off quickly but then waited for the other 4 mains.
Our two steaks came out and they were also beautiful and finished that off but still had not received the other 2 salads, we had already been at the venue for over 2 hours and seen other tables come and go, so we unfortunately cancelled as we didn't want to wait any longer for salad.
Overall, if the service and ventilation was better we...

Saturday night, This is by far the worst experience I’ve had at a bar in Sydney to date. We ordered 2 drinks, not cocktails and nothing that requires mixing skills , literally a whiskey neat and a glass of Pinot. 27 minutes! No joke, 27 minutes for two drinks. I understand there is an order of receipts that staff are required to fill but there should also be some form of common sense where based on drinks if there are a few easy ones get them out of the way. Whilst waiting at the table we observed 3 ladies walk to the bar order drinks and receive them on the spot, so I’m really not sure how the system works. Aside from that, whilst waiting for the drinks we decided to order something to eat. We did the mistake of ordering a lobster roll. The lobster smelt odd, the texture was rubbery, I’m sure it was fake crab meat, the buns were wet. It seems they had pulled these out of plastic sleeves at placed into a microwave. The “crunchy chips” were stale nacho chips with coloured powder on it. ALSO we received the lobster roll before the drinks despite ordering them way after ….
The ONLY good thing about this place was the music….. but it starts and ends there. Had such high hopes for this place, the concept is great but the final product...
