Wayne's Place have done a fantastic job with a great location on Marion St that has seen a couple of other owners in the pre-COVID days ...
... so happy to see they are still delivering great food, coffee, sweet treats and wonderful fruendly service with indoor & outdoor seating, both open-air and shaded.
Both the regular rotating menu of delicious breakfast & lunch items and the specials give fabulous choice, non-vegetarian & vegetarian alike. Couple of my faves are the burgers and the various breakfast wraps, the Rosey Wrap is an essential go-to for me !
Delicious coffee served up perfectly, and all sorts of cakey things too. Photo is one of their recent specials, a chicken & bacon toastie on sourdough with rocket, cheese, tomato, aioli, and fries.
Thanks everyone at Wayne's Place for continuing to deliver a top of the class service right in the thick of Leichhardt's pretty competitive...
Read moreThis Cafe is a really nice, small cafe located near the main part of Leichardt. It has a very interesting design and a wonderful interior full of beautiful paintings, chairs and tables. The atmosphere is quite pleasing and I really enjoyed my breakfast in this cafe.
The food was quite tasty and good quality. They took there time with a speedy touch and the was on the table in 15 minutes whilst they were quite busy. I would change one thing, the hashbrown was a little overcooked and non seasoned.
The coffee was really good, just a little too hot when it came and cooked my tounge to a medium well done.
I did notice a few cobwebs in the corners so I would clean those. In the lights above the table I notced a few webs as well.
Overall this place is awesome and I would definitely recommend coming here and having some breakfast. Good job Wayne !

We had an avocado and double egg roll which was huge and very tasty. There was plenty of avocado, two nicely cooked eggs and house made relish all inside a big soft fresh bun. It was very filling. The other brekkie was just toast with jam - but the jam was house made and the flavours were amazing. This unassuming place is great value too with very affordable prices. They apparently also do dinners on some weekend nights. Worth...
