This is only my third time eating at a Zeus Street Greek outlet, and the only decent meal I've had is from the Surry Hills one on Foveaux Street. I would say don't waste your time. I only stopped by for a quick bite after work, and I don't know why I chose this place, was just in the mood for Greek food. I ordered the soft shell crab pita with chips. The pita wrap was cold, the caramelized onions were clammy, overly sweet and disgusting. The crab itself was far from fresh or fried properly. The only saving grace of my meal was the chips, and by that I mean it was an average tasting serving of chips. It seems to a place where the locals come (or maybe they were first timers like me?), but I can't for the life of me see why! Unless I got a dud meal (bad luck to me then), this place was an utter waste of my money for what I got. Will not come back.

Since the dawn of time, humans have longed to solve the greatest mystery on earth: how to turn a kebab shop into a successful chain. I can't say that they've cracked it here, but they've made progress. It's entirely edible. It will never be your favourite kebab, unless you either don't get out much, or live life in the marijuana state of mind. But, the bread is fun, the meat tasty enough, the tzatziki better than expected (creamy and not sweet). I'd prefer hot fresh plain fries in my tzimmy, and not lukewarm pre-coated potato product. But that's a small quibble. I couldn't understand a word that the charming server uttered. But we got there, together, and it seems that delivery management is her primary task.

I was excited to try another Greek place in Dulwich hill but unfortunately it was a bit below expectations The starter which was fries with Feta and oregano didn't have much feta on it, and wasn't seasoned very well The pita wraps were average, the chicken one was better than Zeus the lamb one as The Nutella lokmadas were the best part of the meal but still not impressive and the dough was a bit heavy Overall it is average

Where do I start? I fancied some Greek food, the meat was bland with no flavour and the pita was soggy. Overall food rating was poor. The service on the other hand is a joke.

I made an order with Deliveroo, they called me after my order was placed to advise they didnt have Ginger beer (they couldnt think to use thier legs and buy a can from next door, instead they call the customer)

Anyway, the food order arrived and there was incorrect items, I ordered Fish, they brought chicken. We didn't want chicken. The manager didn't apologize but went on to say "We cannot deal with you, you didn't buy from us. You bought from Deliveroo"

How stupid a response is this. Did deliveroo 3d print my order? Even when I said they (Zeus) had made the error and they should arrange for my fish to be delivered. Refused to give me an en email address or a contact for the owner. This was my first and LAST order. Beware, the food is bland and boring and the service...

I had a hankering for Greek food so I checked out Zeus in Dulwich Hill. It's in a pretty good location with two carparks right next door. Good layout with a load of space. Both indoor and outdoor dining. Ordered the soft shell crab pita with Yia yia chips. The chips were crunchy, seasoned well and that's where the good ends. I hate writing bad reviews but I've got to be honest. Firstly, I couldn't believe the size of the pita for the price. Ate it all in 4 bites. It was the total opposite of the generous Greek spirit. And the pita itself was horrible. It was really bland and tasted like it was made the day before. My mother had the pork pita and she said the pork was dry and not at all appetising. I can safely say that I will never visit this joint again unless there's significant changes made. If you have a hankering for Greek food, do yourself a favour and drive right past Zeus to Marrickville. You will get more bang...
