Beechworth Pizza & Takeaway — Restaurant in Victoria

Wednesday 14th of August; A friend and I visited here for the first time. Pizza quality was beyond satisfactory. The four younger gentleman working that night were very confident and welcoming, great communication skills towards customers and one another, they are quick and work great as a team. Whilst reversing out from parking spot the car stopped and wouldn’t start, leaving us halfway stuck on the road. I rushed back inside and asked for assistance, with no hesitation they came out and pushed the car back into the parking spot. After a short while the car started again. One of the gentleman made us aware he was an apprentice in Mechanics and had a look in the hood to check everything was secure and in place. 10/10 for customer service in all aspects, owners and management shall be very proud to have such lovely workers in their business creating a safe and well maintained environment. I wish I could leave a proper review but I never got to try the pizza. I get it, Friday nights are busy. But after standing at the front counter for over 10 minutes while being pointedly ignored by the guys supposedly serving, I left. They had no problem taking phone orders but would not serve a customer standing in front of them. Hey - I was there before the phone rang! Very poor. I expected better at a town that lives on tourism. And you - the old dude making pizzas and looking at me - are you the owner? You should be doing something to fix this. Menu looks like it came out of a 70s pizza place.

Young guy who served me was dimwitted. Ordered my pizza couldn't wait in shop because of covid so waited outside. Young guy puts pizza on top of oven when he knows I'm waiting outside . Had to go inside to get my pizza asked what's my name ? You just served me 15 minutes ago . Why couldn't dimwit just tap on the window to tell me it's ready ? While it was cooking he kept looking out the window at me .
