London House Bendigo — Restaurant in Victoria

We went there on father's day. There were some tables full. We sat outside, beside a bigger group. When we ordered we were told that there would be a 30 mins wait, unless we wanted just toasties. We chose to wait. The table next to us were told their order would be up next (they had already be waiting 1 hour, they were offered free coffee's. Their meals came 1 hour 20mins after ordering, they were a little annoyed. Our meals came out 48 mins after they were ordered. They were tasty, but you could see they were rushed on the plate. No care, no garnish. My guess would be they were caught off guard and ran short...

I had the most wonderful high tea experience at London House! From the moment we arrived, we were treated to exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and truly made the experience feel special. The food was absolutely delicious – each bite was a perfect blend of flavor and finesse, with an array of sweet and savoury treats that were beautifully presented. The entire experience was fantastic value for money, with generous portions and a menu that truly impressed. Cafe essence is quite different to other cafes in the area in that is two stories in height, and quite split in terms of personality. Downstairs is a very straightforward affair with great food and coffee, whilst upstairs you can sit in large groups either indoors or out on the balcony overlooking historic Bull Street.

Either way, a great spot for lunch, coffee or cake, family friendly, great staff and nice decor. Very much...
