While camping with our friends at Eagle Point back in January we had the delightful experience of trying some delectable donuts for the first time. Among them, the Pineapple donut stood out as my absolute favourite. I must admit, the Chocolate Jam donut wasn’t too bad either. My partner opted for the Jam and Cream donut, & Nutella donut. Coincidentally, we spotted these donuts at the Bairnsdale Market, and we couldn’t resist the temptation to have more. Naturally, I couldn’t resist another Pineapple donut. To complete our donut feast, we also tried the Lamington and Custard donut. It’s a shame they are based Lakes Entrance only and travel locally which is a little too far to travel. Hopefully in the future they will come down to Melbourne.

We came twice to test out a couple of donuts. We were pleasantly surprised and loved all of them. My first was the peppermint crisp and my second visit, I tasted the lamington one. I can't remember the ones my wife bought. Our coffees on our second visit were great. Their service was great. Unfortunately we forgot to past this morning to try another one before we left the Lakes. If this place was in Melbourne, it would put Daniels donuts out of business. You can't compare them. Well done team.

Tried Big Bear Donuts at the Donut Festival in Queen Vic Market and I’m still dreaming about them! I had the Pistachio and Lemon Curd—both were absolute standouts. The pistachio was nutty, smooth, and perfectly balanced, while the lemon curd had just the right amount of tang to keep you coming back for more. Soft, fluffy dough and flavours that really hit. Safe to say, these donuts live rent-free in my head. Can’t wait to have them again!

This is a MUST stop. No excuses, unless you pass there late and they're closed because they're all sold out. This is hands down, the BEST donuts ever. Big, fluffy, decently priced and plenty of options, including vegan! (Note: All vegan "donuts" that I've had in the past are usually a type of cake shaped in a donut, but not these - this is the real deal. Actual regular big donuts that are vegan.) You'll find these guys in a van parked in the carpark of Apex park. They open super early and although we were there around 9am during the holiday season, they were selling out fast. We were one of many people who were walking away with boxes of donuts from them. I think I paid around $5 for a vegan donut, which I think is very reasonable. (Avoid the jam filled one, unless you're an absolute lover of jam, as it's overly full of jam that oozes out everywhere - in a good way!) Their coffee was decent and the staff are super friendly. I'm so glad that a tourist information centre recommended them as a stop! Oh - and the park that it's next to, has a small playground with climbing equipment for the children,...

Big Bears Donuts is an absolute must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth! This amazing donut shop always has a great variety of fresh, delicious donuts to choose from, and the friendly staff make every visit a delight.

The first thing you'll notice when you walk into Big Bears Donuts is the incredible aroma of freshly baked donuts. From classic flavors like glazed and nutella to more adventurous options like maple bacon and s'mores, they have something for everyone.

But it's not just the donuts that make Big Bears so special - it's also the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are always happy to chat and offer recommendations, and they make sure that every customer feels appreciated and valued.

Overall, I can't recommend Big Bears Donuts enough. The incredible variety of delicious donuts, friendly staff, and amazing coffee make it the perfect spot for a sweet treat or a quick pick-me-up. Five...
