Oh, how I love C-Breez. Lately, I’ve been coming to Brighton Beach for a swim every day before work. I usually follow this by strolling up to C-Breez to grab a takeaway coffee and have a chat with some friends. Occasionally, I also grab a breakfast wrap, which is delicious! Sorry that there are no photos of this one folks – I was hungry and forgot! But I can definitely recommend it! With two eggs, two serves of bacon, along with spinach and relish, it goes down a treat. It’s a generous serve and even if I do a run first, it keeps me going for hours.

They have a pretty extensive menu, which includes the now ever- present Acai bowls, as well as the more traditional eggs on toast. Not to mention the classic bacon and egg toastie. Oh, and there’s also Mo’s breaky roll (not sure if there is an actual Mo but if I find out, I’ll let you know!) which is similar to the wrap except it comes with Mo’s sauce. There’s actually quite a few options to choose from, which is a good thing in my book. Of course, they have plenty of coffee choices too.

Prices at C Breez are good too. When I can get coffee and a wrap in Perth for just shy of $20, I’m stoked. It's great value in my book, especially considering what you can pay for brekkie these days.

I also love the décor at C-Breez. They still use a chalk board with a welcome message in bright coloured chalk, which I think is refreshing in this digital world of ours. Plus, they have really kitschy stuff that suits the venue down to the ground – things like a 1988 Ironman block mount and photos of old Scarborough. I’m a history buff, so I think it’s great that they’ve gone to the effort to display this kind of memorabilia. They also have cool things like a multi-coloured love heart made of wood that says ‘love the beach.’ Very cool.

They’re dog friendly too (see pic attached to this review for proof!) which is awesome and - in my opinion – compulsory in 2025. Dogs are awesome and we should welcome them to our cafes!

There’s plenty of seating - some undercover and some outside – which is a plus. But if you miss out on a seat, you can always plant yourself on the grass and chill. This is a good second option.

There are newspapers and magazines too, which is great for those with extra time on their hands. Having something to read for customers is great in my book. I say this because to be able sit by the ocean, read the paper and watch the world go by is one of life’s great pleasures. If you’re not into reading, you can always play their oversize size noughts and crosses game 😉

They also have a selection of ice creams, which is a bonus for those hot summer days that Perth loves to put on. But in my book, there’s really no excuse needed for an ice cream!

I tried their banana cake once and it was a solid size serve and tasted great. They also sell smartie cookies. So, anyone who wants to get in touch with their inner child can chow down on one of those. Or otherwise just buy some for their kids.

There’s cabinet food too (think sandwiches and muffins) so you’ve got plenty of choice.

The staff are fun people and super friendly. You can recognise them by their green shirts. They’re efficient and well organised too, with food pickups to the left of the main counter and coffee pickups to the right.

They also sell keep cups, honey and sun cream, so whether you need to stay sun-safe or get some honey for your toast, they’ve got you covered!

Overall, C Breez has a great vibe and there’s a real community atmosphere in the surrounding area. Between runners, cyclists, walkers and people with their dogs, it’s really friendly. I often make a point of stopping strangers to have a chat and pat their dogs, as I think it’s good for the soul. 😉

Oh, and they’re open 365 days a year too, so you’ll always be able to get a coffee. So, if you’re ever at a loose end, head on down to C-Breez and see where the...

Food is ok, but service can be very slow and disorganized. Order two Açai Bows one with extras and waited for at least 20 minutes seeing 12 or of the same being ordered and delivered before mine, even after asking about my order 3 times, during this see the person that was putting the dockets for the people that prepare them putting a few of them in the empty spaces randomly. Not enough when I received my two bows they had two slices of each, apple, banana, and strawberry in it while some of the ones delivered before were with plenty fruits in it. Summarizing the place and the food are not bad and also aren't the employees, but it definitely lacks in organization...

When you need to escape the rat race and take a breath of fresh sea air, this is the place to go to get the coffee to go with it

There's also breakfast and lunch, icecream and fish and chips, so plenty of choice in the food department.

There's beanbags on the lawn and tables and chairs scattered around, but if it's raining you'll find that kiosk is about the size of it, limited seating inside.

It's all of about 50m from the beach, so use it as an excuse for a swim and you'll fit right in.

Parking is nearby, but it's often pretty full.

Great for a...

Great vibe here. the food was delicious, and so was the coffee ☕️ 😋 A relaxed place to sit, enjoy the food, drink, and atmosphere while watching the world go by. Sit at one of the tables or chill on the grassed area on one of the bean bags, anything is OK. Definitely recommend coming here. They are open 365 days a year and dog friendly 😎
