Newly opened Chinese food outlet on the second floor next to Pappa Rich, with friendly wait staff. Good sized portions, good flavours in the cook to order dishes. Malaysian style Hawker food. Also offers "pack a plate" with a good variety of dishes to choose from. Tried the fried kuey teow which was pretty good, and closer to real Malaysian style than a lot of places. Next dish to try is the Laksa which looks good too. Prices are about average for a food court, maybe about a dollar cheaper per dish. I’ve been here few times in the past and it’s was much better then..not sure what happened yesterday. Perhaps they have changed owners? So the workers weren’t very friendly and appeared disinterested in good customer service. I ordered a mild Singaporean noodles with chicken yet it came out hot with few pieces of meat! I wanted to ask for another to be cooked up, yet figured it’s not the establishment to ask. I wanted to give one star but hubby’s nasi goreng was ok. Also be WARNED a majority of the dishes are NOT made fresh to order. They just pile in the noodles and meat from the baine marie into a bowl then add hot soup over it. I moved to the area a little while ago & have been eating here when I am back in Perth (?FIFO ....the spirit & atmosphere is so warm , kind& welcoming , the food is as beautiful as the staff , lead by a wonderful owner ,May who could , teach classes to the worlds best restaurants in , customer service , food etiquette & is such a genuine wonderful person as well . Its an Oasis in a desert , in every way . You can’t go past any of the soups , mmm .Quiet simply the best .
