Utterly despicable. See picture of 'chicken lettuce and mayo sandwich'. I had to get her to put my pie back after asking $7.80 for it. I chose the chicken sandwich instead, and get back to the car with this. A couple of leaves and a couple of shreds off a cooked chook from the supermarket. Disgusting what people want to get away with these days. If I wasn't so busy at work I would have taken this back and asked for my money back. Terrible, will never be returning. Have had the pies before too and they are very average and VERY overpriced. Cheers guys

Cool little bakery and cafe in West Perth. Joe's bakery has some great baked goods, both sweet and savoury. The croissants are nice, the Aussie cookie's are good, plus the pies and cakes look amazing! If you are wanting lunch or coffee and time to relax it is great. Lunchtime salads are worthwhile, a good healthy option to accompany whatever else you are having. Plus the coffee is good too. Added to all that is complimentary WiFi. All in all, a great bakery and cafe, with good coffee and food to help you through your day!

“I had a disappointing experience with the service. The staff were unhelpful and dismissive. I ordered a coffee, but there was no clear system for identifying orders, which led to confusion as multiple people ordered similar items. When I accidentally picked up the wrong drink, the staff responded in a rude and unprofessional manner, and their response felt racially biased. I paid for this service and did not expect to be treated poorly. This experience was very disappointing, and I won’t be returning.”👎👎👎👎

4/4/22: I was first bought here years ago when I was an apprentice. The guy I was working with used to get party pies and sausage rolls for morning tea and they were excellent. This was in the days when there was just a counter and massive pie warmers and they used to pump out thousands of pies, pasties and sausage rolls a day. I was nearby a few weeks ago and decided to buy a couple of pies for old times sake, they were OK but they didn't have exactly what I wanted. I tried them again today and again they didn't have most of what was on the menu. The shop assistant was struggling with English as well, which didn't help. The pies are nowhere near what they used to be, the pastry is really soft and thin (overworked?), the filling is average and they are not cheap. I can't see myself bothering again. It is really sad for a business that used to be an...

I'm not normally one to write negative reviews but I seem to have a hit and miss eating experience every time I am here. Today I ordered the pumpkin soup and it was so bad I didn't eat it. There was no flavour and was so watered down it didn't even taste like pumpkin in the slightest. I was really disappointed. I also avoid the sausage rolls as I feel they are microwave heated and sometimes over salted they leave a dry taste in my mouth. As I work up the street this bakery is a regular go to for our office, the donuts, cakes and salad rolls are to die for though, but I would...
