Lime 303 — Restaurant in Western Australia

Update Went again for dinner and food was good, we had the squid and a crepe as starters and those were really good, we ordered again the Scotch fillet with prawns, asked for medium well and again it was served well done, it didn't taste bad and the meat wasn't tough or dry so I didn't say anything. We also ordered the rice with seafood and like a soup but it was bland, a lot of salt was needed. This was mentioned after the first bite, but we were only offered an extra sauce and since the one we asked for wasn't available, we were told feedback would be provided to the kitchen. We ordered the lasagna again for our kid and it was good. 2 desserts were ordered, a chocolate tart and the salted caramel Panna Cotta and they were both very good. I ordered a mocktail and it was not good, definitely don't recommend that or the rice, but the rest of the meal was very good.

Went for dinner, food was great, the only thing is that I wanted my beef medium well and it was well done, didn't really want to wait longer so I decided to eat it like that, although it wasn't what I expected but the taste was really good, even my 6yr old, who is not an easy eater, loved her lasagna. The waitress was great as well, should've asked her name but I didn't... But she made us feel welcomed and she was really nice...

Our evening began quiet well, wait staff friendly and professional. Menu explained well, drinks and food orders taken promptly. Unfortunately this is where things took a nose dive. Our pre- booked table of 6 people, consisting of 3 adults, 3 children waited for over an hour for relatively simple mains. This was also annoying as the restaurant was seemingly of average patronage, the floor staff were plentiful but no one came to explain why the loooonngg wait for our meals. It took one of us to go to the bar to enquire about our meals before something was done. To then make our experience even more disappointing, the potions of the meals were quite below the average size, especially in proportion to the prices!! To charge $39 for a dish that was of entree size is very disappointing, to say the least. We ordered dessert, as still rather hungry and even that took extra than normal time, so the whole 2 course sitting took 2 and a half hours. The food was great, unfortunately the portion size, length of time and price lets this stylish...

I do have something to say about the rude staff member and I hope management reads this. My husband and I stayed at the Dog Rock Motel and booked dinner at the Lime restaurant on Saturday the 5th of October reservation at 6.30pm. To the young girl who took my order. I saw you roll your eyes at the other waitress as you walked away all because I asked for a small gravy on the side. Also as we were paying my husband put the hundred dollars under the receipt and you reached over and snatched it as you wanted it out in your hand. IM NOT HAPPY AT ALL. You need to be brought down a few notches ! You are not all that and if it wasn’t for my husband then I would have said something to you. For managing she was a young girl with a slim build. Medium length hair tied back and wearing glasses. With all the good reviews I read regarding your restaurant and having a staff member with a rude attitude like this certainly does not do your restaurant any justice. Other than that I can’t fault...
