Went there yesterday and the young man was extremely polite n helpful however thr lady bringing out the food tp top up the shelves was rather rude. I asked her for a coffee and she glared and ignore me. The spinach n ricotta sausages roll was warm n not hot and felt like its beeen microwaved. The boy was apologetic and said yes the food in the bottom oven is hotter than the top. I said to him, feel my party pie and I passed him the paper bag. I expected him to feel it on the outside but he stuck his hands inside to touch it. He agreed, said its not normally like that and was apologetic however never offered a replacement or refund.
I will return to my normal Lawleys in Shenton Park. Gave posh Nedlands a chance and...
Read moreService was good. Cappuccino was okay but not great. Chai latte was too milky and lacked flavour. Chicken Quesadilla (had by others with me) was lacking in flavour and the sauce it was supposed to come with was almost non-existent. I did not see this surcharge advertised, nor have any of the staff on the till advised anything other than the $14 charge. Is this legal? I will be voting with my feet - the pies aren't THAT good. No other business from chiropractors, garden centres, pharmacies or other hospitality venues added ANY surcharge to purchases on my bank statement, so Lawley's charges seem excessive and were...
