Attended this establishment with my brother. For some great conversation with a few drinks and some dinner. Started with a gin and tonic using our local west winds gin, it was a quite enjoyable drink. Drink number 2 was a Rob Zombie which was a spin on the traditional Tiki Zombie cocktail. Wow great flavours in a tiki mug and it was very refreshing. The rum with the falernum, absinthe and juices. Delicious. Drink number 3 was a Negroni, again a home rum with this one. Great flavour and well balanced. We enjoyed the Popcorn chicken to start with, the food was fresh and hot. Great flavour without being over seasoned. Next was the Chicken Liver Parfait, this was rich and smooth smeared on bread. Excellent! Finally we had the Kangaroo Tataki which we enjoyed, it had an great combination of flavours. Overall a great time. The staff were excellent which I could remember their names.

First ⭐, family run business you can tell in the quality of service, this place tucked down the lane off 8th Ave in Maylands offers you that NY/ Melbourne type atmosphere. Second ⭐ we were there for the Oyster night hosted by the king of oyster shuckers Gerry Fraser and wine tasting with David Multen. Third ⭐ the atmosphere was great, it had a real vibe, they also have a jazz bar downstairs, which is just what the area needed. Fourth ⭐ prices were reasonable with a great wine list, we had the Pate tasting plate, restaurants never give you enough crackers or bread to go with the dip? Why is that 🤔 Fifth ⭐ overall great experience for my first time, met people we didn't know, they asked if we would like to join tables and we did, for a great time, reminded me of Canada 🇨🇦

I booked a few tables here for 35 friends for my birthday, and the whole experience was Awesome. The team were super responsive to my booking enquiry, were very accommodating when my numbers increased and we were given such a wonderful welcome. The drinks and food here are top notch but the thing that really stands out is the beautiful friendly service from this lovely bunch of people. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks again Lyric team .. You guys rock !! 😊

This would be five minus the fact that it was sunday and I walked in there with a coffee from somewhere else. Not intentionally and didn't even realise. I was rudely made aware of this when I went to place my $100 order. There's a way of talking to a customer about making them aware they brought food or drinks from a outside venue and this wasn't the way. I would have given this give stars otherwise.

Great place. Deceivingly large place with large outdoor dining area at the back and a separate outdoor dining/smoking area at the front. The place is modern and has a real vibe. Menu is not large which makes it a lot easier to choose what to eat. The drinks menu is huge. The staff are really great, friendly, polite and have your interests in mind. The food was great.

Absolutely blown away with this little gem, amazing vibe tucked away in an art deco lane way. Popped in on a band night. Stayed for drinks and food. I would highly recommend trying their kangaroo tataki - mind blowing, espresso martini was excellent too. Their Air bnb was top class too, clean well organised and an absolute stunner. Thank you
