Extremely happy with this place from the get go, we just walked in without booking and the lovely staff managed to get us in for a meal even though they were fully booked! We had the calamari, elicoidali ragu, roast potatoes and the spaghetti gamberi. All of these dishes were done to perfection with a real authentic taste and feel to it. The location is in the beautiful Subiaco suburb with free on street parking right outside, the staff were all absolutely lovely and the atmosphere in here was faultless and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning here, 5 out of 5 stars all day!

Lasagne, grilled barramundi, and seafood spaghetti have standard taste (that's why I gave 4.5 stars for food) However, Baby Goat Chop is a must, I should say. Soft meat, very, very good, and matched sauce, attractive grilled taste. I decided to try a new dish and it wasn't a mistake. Tiramisu is another right choice for desert. We have a very friendly waiter who looks like a manager. He makes the over all dinning atmosphere completely comfortable. All tables are full on a weekday night

Food lived up to everything I had been told...awesome!! Unfortunately, I think due to the tiled floors (which just magnify sound enormously) a large party of 18-20 people were celebrating early Christmas & Birthdays, ruined the evening for not just my table but all the tables who had the misfortune of being inside. Staff are obviously used to noise, but surely they must have been embarrassed 😳 If only that table had been put outside on the patio 🙄 Next time I'm sitting out the front!

My friends and work colleagues came for lunch today after I had dinner here a few weeks ago and had a lovely night with good food and service. Whilst the five of us ladies had the antipasto board which I recommended, I discovered a big piece of hard plastic in the eggplant dish which luckily did make it into my mouth. I mentioned this to our waitress and she apologized and took it to the kitchen. No response from the chef of manager in regards to this whatsoever. We went on to order share mains and another person found hard plastic, like from a take away container in the prawn dish. We told the waitress we have found another piece of plastic in our food. She took it to the kitchen. No response. After the meal I asked for the waitress to come over and expressed that we felt what had happened should've been addressed. She went back and eventually the manager came to our table and was extremely rude and abrupt and said to me "what to do you want me to do about it"? Well, I was floored! Thought he may of come over and asked if we were okay. No nothing. He asked me the same question again. I said I didn't want any money off I just wanted someone to acknowledge what had happened. He said well if that's it, let's just wrap it up. I said what do you mean. He repeated. Let's wrap it up. I said, are you kicking us out? He said we close at three and walked off. We were all gob smacked by the shear lack of professionalism, customer care and down right utter rudeness. I have never been so embarrassed in my life. We had planned this lunch catch since my dining experience and we are beyond disgusted with the way we were treated. Would I come back again or recommended this place? NO!!!!!!!!! I really hope you reevaluate your management on customer service. I seriously would of given no stars to this review purely based in how myself and friend were treated. There is no...

Situated on a busy street, this restaurant is easily accessible with street parking. The building is compact and space is at a premium with outdoor seating areas enclosed by plastic awning.

Wait staff is attentive and friendly, going out of their way to deal with food allergies, querying back and forth with the kitchen to confirm ingredients. One of the guys belts out a credible Pavarotti for birthdays.

The menu is typical Italian with individual courses and plenty to enjoy including fish of the day and other goodies.

Seating is compact, touching knees, but all the more convivial for it. Our orders took a little while to arrive, but given the number of patrons and takeaways on a Friday evening, understandable.

Unfortunately the kitchen didn't match the excellent front of house experience. Meal preparation was decidedly hit and miss. We found plastic and paper in a squid entree, cheese on a dairy free main, two identical goat chops meals, one with predominantly gristle, the other bones, both poorly cooked with very tough meat. Mango sorbet dessert appeared to be old, rather than fresh.

This wasn't the case for all dishes. Some of our party couldn't fault their meals and loved their food.

We've been here before and the experience seems hit and miss, perhaps dependent on who is in the kitchen at the time.

Charge is reasonable if you receive a great meal, less so, if not. The restaurant is BYO, charges for wine and beer corkage as well as for a leftover container.

Noise levels are high, earplugs only barely taking off the edge.

Bookings are essential.

Proceed...

We went to the restaurant which I booked the week before only to be told our name wasn’t on the list. Then they finally found it under the wrong name and number. We have two young children and were quite surprised that an Italian restaurant had no spaghetti bolognaise on the kids menu and no colouring to entertain them. Also they had no garlic bread. We ordered the food and after a while asked for two wine glasses which 20 minutes later had not arrived. So my husband went and got them himself off the shelf. An hour later, we still had not got our food. I had to ask twice for them to find out where our food was. When it finally arrived, not all at once, the risotto wasn’t cooked properly. We didn’t send it back because it would take even longer. Before I’d even finished my meal, the waitress started clearing the table. We ordered ice cream for our children and they had no ice cream toppings or sauces. After we paid the bill and walked out, we didn’t even get a goodbye or thank you. Very...
