I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The main attraction is its location in Subiaco, which is much nicer than the Perth CBD and more convenient than Fremantle. The hotel is a short walk from Subiaco train station, which is on the Airport and Fremantle Lines (meaning that there are frequent services and you can easily travel to the airport), and there are lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby. It's also very quiet at night, including as the hotel is on a side street so not much traffic goes past.||The hotel appears to have opened recently, and is very modern. The only issue I encountered was that the plug in the bathroom basin barely kept any water in, which isn't great given the current water restrictions in Perth. ||My room was large and had a view over Subiaco - not especially interesting, but welcome. There isn't much furniture in the room, and it felt a bit empty. A second lounge chair would help. There was plenty of wardrobe space. ||The hotel restaurant serves a cafe-style made to order breakfast. While prices are reasonable, the portions are small. There are much better options a short walk from the hotel.||Overall, I'd happily...

Read moreMy wife and I stayed here for three nights. We booked a premium room, which apparently included the following: a bottle of wine and a cheese platter on arrival, as well as a coffee pod machine in the room.||Upon arrival, there was no bottle of wine, no coffee pod machine, and no sign of a cheese platter. When making the booking, I noted that my wife was pregnant and requested something in place of the wine that would be more suitable for her.||I phoned reception to ask about the missing amenities. I was told that a coffee pod machine would be brought to the room shortly. As for the wine, they had placed a bottle of water in the room instead, as my wife was pregnant. (Water is usually a standard inclusion in a room, so this was disappointing.)||Although they later offered to bring a bottle of wine, the man at reception asked me twice whether I wanted red or white, and I said red both times. However, a bottle of white wine was delivered to the room. At that point, I just accepted it.||Overall, the room was nice. The plug on the hairdryer was broken, but they did replace it when we...
