The Subiaco Theatre Gardens are yet another of the many 'hidden gems' in the City of Subiaco's treasure chest!! How many parks do you know of: are about a square kilometre in size; contain 2 theatres; an adventure playground; a babbling 'brook'; and a barbecue (with covered seating for kids' parties) etcetera??? Yet, the gardens don't seem to be overly occupied during the colder months. They do seem to get busier when the warmer months bring out the picnic rugs and hampers, or when there are events taking place at the dramatic theatres. I've been bringing my teenage children here from the time when they once needed prams to get here!! In those days, the 'Big hit' was the Adventure Playground. It has certainly changed over the years. It is now much more eco-friendly and creative for children. There is just so much to offer in these gardens. If you have any doubts whatsoever, have a look at some of the photos!!!😍

A great introduction to the Giants of Mandurah. These are fabulous structures made from recycled material and we'll worth the hunt for all 6 if the giants. Definitely inspired us to go down to Mandurah and find the others. Easily accessible park with beautiful rose garden and art set in a lovely tree covered park . Beautiful

We were passing through this enchanting place and was totally fascinating with the atmosphere of creativity. It's an op shop from a church building. Lots of hand made sculptures and variety of vegetation. Would like to visit again when the op shop is actually open.

Great kids play area including water play, circular swing, large wooden adventure playground and slides. Large areas of green grass with a variety of beautiful mature trees proving plenty of shade. BBQ area with two free BBQs and covered seating. An Exceloo toilet is provided in the park but it's hard to find... go to the undercover section at the back of the Subiaco Arts Centre. Street parking is available...
