Subway — Restaurant in Western Australia

Today we revisited Subway in Geraldton having had some time go past since our last visit which wasn't that great, however opted for a healthier choice. It's the 24th December Christmas Eve' Didn't feel that Christmas vibe! Rochelle' served us. I asked for a half a foot long, Italian bread, mentioned I was a pescatarian and asked for egg on fresh bread. She put the egg into the microwave without asking if I wanted it warmed up and grabbed 2 white foot long rolls out. She was putting ham and salami onto the rolls and went back to mine and touched my roll with the same gloves she used for the meat. I said sorry, but I told you I'm a pescatarian and don't eat meat. With attitude she slammed the roll down on the bench frantically taking of her gloves ,puts new ones on and start to cut open another roll. Moves it onto the next lady to do the salads while next few seconds starts having a conversation about me being a pescatarian to the guy next in line, gossiping behind my back and laughing in front of all the other customers. My partner asked the lady at the till what her name was as she was being rude towards me, and you could see she was hesitant to want to say, although she did and said her name is Rochelle. I'm so sorry about it. Said sorry again and it wasn't even her fault. No Christmas spirit, very disrespectful not a nice environment at all.

The manager really needs to get their act together and teach these workers some manners and quality customer service.

We come into Subway for a pleasant experience whilst we have decided to spend our money here, the last thing anyone wants is an unpleasant and disrespectful environment. It's like it's ran by young immature adult kids.

Subway is an amazing spot in Geraldton. But the sewer smell outside is despicable I almost puked smelling it. As I went in the subway I could only see how dirty the floors were. The tiles looked brown sticky and looks like a lot of bacteria. I thought to myself the service couldn’t be bad could it? Wrong this blond girl I believe name is Miranda as she was serving me all I could smell was cigarette smoke and almost puked again. She was rushing me and throwing the veggies on with no care in her mind. I saw the other workers looking at her in confusion as why she was rushing me so much. She kept giving me dirty looks and was clearly judging me with her eyes. I felt very hated and not welcomed in this line of work when I asked for more carrot she scoffed and muffled something underneath her breath. I was mortified in why they let young workers treat there elder like that. When I asked if the veggie is fresh she said in a rude tone “yes it is have you seen the ad saying subway eat fresh” I was just baffled at this point and proceeded to pay she then went in the back and who knows what she was doing probably talking about me. The food overall was a 3/10 the toasted sandwich made the tomato and lettuce warm and soggy and the bread was stiff as if it wasn’t fresh. Ordered a 6 inch meatball sub, it was good but the service I got was not okay. The girl who served me (named Miranda was obviously not having a good day. Did have a bit of a stench of cigarette coming off her which I guess is alright but at least try to cover it so I know it’s not going in my food another girl started doing my salads because the girl named Miranda had to do something at the back I could hear her bad mouth another employee, just felt unprofessional to do while customers are around. There for the store it’s self was pretty clean little mold but Employees touching there faces and clothes and then proceed to make my sandwich was another put off.
