Il Lago Bistro — Restaurant in Wollongong City Council

Food was a total disappointment! Staff didn’t know what was in the meals when asked and seemed confused when we asked . Definitely a language barrier there . Which we overlooked and didn’t mind . We ordered 3 steaks . 1 medium rare , another medium and another medium well . They all came out extremely undercooked almost looking the same . The medium rare was absolutely blue . We nicely sent it back and while we were waiting they did bring us a free arancini balls? When the steak was returned it was cooked rare . My son couldn’t eat it . The other 2 steaks were barely touched . Thai beef salad was also not cooked and couldn’t be finished . This was very disappointing considering we paid $160 for 5 meals and 3 of them were not eaten .
