I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years and always enjoyed the food. It’s been very average but the prices were okay too. Comfortable little place with good service. Since they’ve changed ownership in the past few months the food quality has changed substantially. Takoyaki was basically potato and overcooked, squid quality was poor and also overcooked. Ramen used to come with seaweed, egg, noodles, fish cake and broth now it is just the meat, noodle and broth. Rice was still as good as ever but I’d hope the rice was at least good. The service was top notch and they were accommodating and polite. I felt bad sending the entrees back. However the food quality is why we’re here.

The worst sushi I’ve ever had – avoid this place at all costs. I saw a few reviews mentioning there was a new owner, so I decided to give it a try. Some of the recent photos looked decent, which gave me a bit of hope. Unfortunately, it was incredibly disappointing. I’ve never seen tuna that thin on sushi before – you could literally see the rice through it. You can get better tuna sushi at just about any other shop nearby. Save your money. The sashimi wasn’t fresh at all, and I also tried the pork rice lunch special – the pork tasted sour, which clearly means it wasn’t fresh either. 华人不骗华人,避雷这个地方

Popped in for a late lunch. Driven past here multiple times, but this was my first visit. Started with seaweed salad (generous serving, tender and juicy), miso soup (hard to stuff up), dumplings (super tender, beautifully cooked, and the chilli oil took it to the next level). Finished with the sashimi plate (good mix, beautifully presented and thicker cut than I'm used to but, which worked well) and a hot sake. Service was attentive and friendly without being cloying. Sensational all round - I'll be back.

It was a quiet evening in Wollongong when the iconic Dr. Dre made an unexpected appearance at a local sushi restaurant that had the town buzzing. Known for his discerning taste in both music and life, his visit was sure to be a memorable one. However, what began as a culinary adventure soon turned into an unexpected twist, as Dr. Dre stumbled upon an adult entertainment venue downstairs.

Dr. Dre's night started like any other, with a simple desire for some delectable sushi. He walked into a cozy yet chic sushi restaurant, known for its fresh seafood and minimalist decor. The dimly lit ambiance created an intimate setting, perfect for an inconspicuous night out.

The legendary rapper and producer dined on a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri, all expertly prepared by the skilled chefs behind the bar. The culinary journey was exquisite, with the flavors bursting in his mouth and the textures blending in perfect harmony. As a connoisseur of life's finer pleasures, Dr. Dre savored every bite.

Just when it seemed like the night couldn't get any more extraordinary, an inquisitive twist occurred. While asking a waiter about the restaurant's history, Dr. Dre discovered that there was an adult entertainment venue in the basement, and it was not an ordinary one. It was an establishment featuring "pretty oriental ladies."

Curiosity piqued, Dr. Dre decided to venture downstairs to see what the commotion was all about. The discreet driveway led him to a world he hadn't expected, where he found himself in a grimy and dull setting. The entry to the establishment was adorned with a single red light, seedy seating, and an atmosphere that seemed straight out of a Hollywood film.

The "pretty oriental ladies" in question were talented, gracefully moving to the rhythm of the music. While this type of entertainment isn't for everyone, Dr. Dre observed the artistry and professionalism of the performers. It was clear that this was a space for adults to enjoy a unique form of entertainment in a respectful and consensual environment.

Dr. Dre's unexpected discovery added an unusual twist to what began as a simple sushi dinner. It served as a reminder that life often throws unexpected surprises, even for the rich and famous. His evening was a testament to the diverse and vibrant experiences that can be found in the City of Wollongong.

In the end, Dr. Dre left the establishment with a sense of wonder, having experienced a night filled with both exquisite sushi and the discovery of a unique underground entertainment venue. His night was a testament to the eclectic, ever-evolving, and often surprising tapestry that is the Illawarra, and it's safe to say that he won't soon forget this memorable...

Tonight, I ordered via Uber Eats a chicken cutlet rice for my son that comes with an omelette. Even the photo on Uber Eats website shows that the chicken cutlet comes with rice and omelette. We have ordered this before and they cook the omelette with sauce and veges. As my son does not like the sauce and the veges, I left a clear instruction on the order "No sauce and No veges".

Unfortunately, it came only with rice and chicken and no omelette at all. My husband and I called Roppongi and the reception told us that they will call us back as they were still busy.

When they called us back about half an hour later we spoke with the reception again, who then passed the phone to another lady. She said there was no omelette because we said "no sauce". We said we only did not want the sauce but still wanted the omelette. She cannot answer and said will pass the phone to the chef.

We expected to get a better answer from the chef as he is supposed to be a professional cook. Unfortunately the chef was rude, and keep saying there was no omelette because we said "no sauce". We said but omelette is egg not sauce, and the chef said "omelette is a sauce". We were flabbergasted this comes from a chef and with full of conviction. We were actually just looking for a simple apology and wanted to make sure it will not happen again in the future.

However the chef kept insisting that "no sauce" means no omelette, and when we said omelette is an egg he said "no no no omelette is an egg sauce. No sauce means no omelette". He than just hung up the phone on us which was EXTREMELY RUDE AND...

I don't usually have many complaints I'll usually let them slide. But everything went wrong when I came in.

I ask for the menu and chose the sushi on the menu. I disliked the tone of urgency but I could understand. I was told that it would be a 15 minute wait. I had a bus that left to Sydney in a hour.

I sat down and she asked if I would like water. I replied "Yeah sure that would be nice." She said "Oh no water no water?"

The guy behind her started laughing and I just said fine and she left. I sat down patiently waiting for my order while I'm seeing other people receiving their orders.

About 30 minutes in just waiting for sushi I was about to just walk out. The before I did she said they gave my food to the wrong table and that a new one would be made.

I decided to wait and get my meal and it arrived an extra 5 minutes later giving me the total wait time of 35 minutes. The sushi itself was good but personally I'd say overpriced for the portions.

I understand that what I'm about to add technically is not their fault but if things went through without any issues I would have most likely had a different outcome.

I get a call saying my bus arrived and if I can make it. I've paid for a return trip and I was hoping to just catch a quick meal which turned into me waiting 2x longer and missing my bus. I ended up taking the train from Wollongong to...
