Honestly disappointed, organised my boyfriends dinner here for 10 people - the guys working there were nice enough but woah the restaurant got SO HOT, when the kitchen started everyone was sweating and dripping wet, there was no airflow and the kitchen smoke was burning everyoneās eyes. We asked if the exhaust/airflow was on and was told it was, everyone took it in turns leaving the restaurant to get fresh air. There was also no water we had to ask specifically for more/top ups regularly bc we were cooking in the restaurant, however there was not someone behind the bar very often to ask for this.
In terms of food, it was alright but overpriced for what we got, and it took nearly 2 hours for the last perosn to get their food as they were cooking them in order of ordering (even though everyone basically ordered at the same time). For example, ceviche took at least 1-1.5 hours and it was raw. It was illogical, inefficient and meant that the people who ordered first had to eat and was waiting nearly 2 hours for the person who ordered last (despite them basically just taking their turn to order and it being with a 5-10 minute time frame) who still hadnt received their food. I would also like to note, we were the only table with people in the restaurant.
Despite the guy behind the bar seeing everyone getting more and more distressed there was no apology, no update and when we followed up and told him we were getting cranky he gave short āitās not my faultā āwe are cooking in the order it cameā and basically shrugged like āwhat can I do?ā type answers and was basically blanking us or hiding in the back unless we got up to find him with specific requests.
The guy in the kitchen came out at then end, was friendly and apologetic and offered us a drink, thanking us for our patience but by this point we were so hot and sweaty, bored, impatient, and pretty much dying to get out of there. It was to the point that all 10 of us sung happy birthday and cut a cake we brought for the occasion outside on top of someoneās car because we couldnāt stand being there any longer.
I am sad to write this review as everyone was nice enough and there was so much potential in this restaurant but unfortunately this is yet to be realised and needs more staffing support/training/resources/a decent exhausted fan and or air...

We couldnāt wait to get our food and leave, except our food took over 2 hours to arrive, even though we were the only table there. The bar was severely understaffed, with only one cook in the kitchen, and the bartender disappearing for long periods of time and leaving us on our own in the bar, which is unheard of, while we waited for our food. We had to track him down just to order water for the table since we were so hot. We found ourselves stepping outside every few minutes just to get some fresh air. When the food finally arrived, it was underwhelming at best. The steak was way too salty making the wait not worth it. This place has a long way to go and I certainly wonāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe came here yesterday for one drink and we were treated like absolute royalty by both the Barman and the Chef. Jack and Orion were absolutely wonderful. It was my friendsā birthday and they were very generous and gave him a free shot and made us feel very welcome. They also gave us complementary home-made crackers Which were still warm And they were bloody delicious. It was a really nice touch and considering this was our first time in the bar it definitely made us want to come back, they set a great example for this place. Thank you, gentlemen, see...
