I couldn’t honestly fault this experience. I haven’t ordered here much and I told the lady at the service desk can I just tell her what I’d like and she help me choose rather than read the whole menu. She was so kind and lovely and ready to help. I said I could see there was pistachio churros, and asked if I can get churos with pistachio sauce and chocolate sauce? She showed me on the menu which items would give me that and told me about a special they had which would double the churros for $2 more. The staff were all friendly, the restaurant was clean and busy but spacious. Seating was very comfortable. The food was delicious too, and churros were 98% perfect, I wish they were a little thicker because I like a soft fully center, but I can see they are made this way for maximum crunch. They were really good, and very crunchy and not overly sweet which is good because the sauces are sweet enough. Paid $14.08 for this with eftpos fee’s.

San Churro as a franchise awesome. The quality within the Wollongong premises is very high, and have never been disappointed with any visit I’ve made to the premises. My usual order is a large milk hot chocolate and churros for one. Their hot chocolate is to die for and feels like a warm hug mixed in with a bedtime story. Their churros are an experience that most people should be trying. I’d highly recommend eating the churros with the cookie butter dip. They do you have a number of gluten-free and vegan options. There is also a range of tapas if you’re not wanting something sweet. For me, this place is one of my go to spots for a bit of sweet tranquility with a Spanish /Latin vibe. I will be going there very soon and I would highly recommend people going there.

It was our first time there, me, my husband and sons, on the morning of the 10th of December 2018. We hesitated because we had never been to such a restaurant before and we were also wondering if the churros would be filling enough for us. We asked the lady serving us if she could help us out with the menu and to recommend one for us as it was our first time. She was truly awesome with her explanation of the different desserts available in the menu and gave us a few options that we could try. She really made us welcome and her assistance was nothing short of awesome. We ordered the classic fondue and spanish hot chocolate and it was definately filling. I would go there again.

With the order details below. I understand that you’re under load but would be great if your manager/organiser can make sure the order is fulfilled to what we are paying and requesting for.

I placed this order and waited to get this order. I got the order at 8:30pm by the delivery staff. Well mannered and presented, however we did not get the chocolate sauce. I then called at 8:32pm and was told by the staff that someone will be there right away with the dipping chocolates. I waited outside for 25minutes and called again to see what is going.

Was told that they are not sure where the delivery staff is and they will call to find out. Then was told that they are coming. 15min later. I called again and was told that I will get a refund and dipping is on its way.

I got a call at 9:03pm and it was a lady with

This bowl and $6 cash? And a white choc dipping chocolate.

The note says salted caramel and white choc. After approx 40min waiting. Churros are cold and I am given $6 and also only the white chocolate dipping.. no caramel even after calling multiple times and what the issue was raised about originally, which was the dipping chocolates missing... I paid $44.99... churros cold. Only one dipping after 45min waiting. 25min out in the cold because I was told someone would’ve been there right away.

It doesn’t make sense that when I called the 5th time and told them I wanted a refund someone was at my door in 5 minutes and with only white chocolate and $6 refund? What’s the refund for the delivery? But then where’s my salted caramel dipping sauce that I paid for and initially was the reason I called you guys about.

I would like a full refund processed ASAP for the entire cost. Night ruined. Although very kind well mannered and apologetic staff so just need some extra training I reckon.

They also gave me the $6 cash in the container with the dipping chocolate? Was the money sanitised, is it safe. What ever happened to the cashless procedures most businesses utilise. I have no idea I can even have the dipping chocolate. There fore dipping chocolate would have to be chucked out due to COVID-19 safety measures.

After all this I was offered $26 in refund.. not even the full amount. Sanchurros was my favourite go to places but I am completely turned off by this unprofessional unreasonable behaviour.

After speaking with the manager him self. He told me that I will get a full refund. - he lied and I did not receive the full refund.

Ps. Their hot chocolates are great, and churros taste great. Unfortunately due to my negative experience I will not be taking my friends and family here. I hope you all get a better experience and...

Took my 2 kids there for a treat, chocolate milkshakes, churros plate with brownies and strawberries etc, and some Mac n cheese croquettes and an almond cappuccino. Definitely look up the prices before you go.

We waited 25 mins for that, it's not cheap either, as you order at the table, you can't cancel the order. I did keep asking where our order was and the young girl just kept saying they were understaffed. What was frustrating was that they kept taking orders and letting people come sit at the tables yet couldn't cope with the orders they had. I was annoyed that I got my coffee and the kids just sat there waiting. Nothing came out at the same time either.

The older lady did come over with my full order amout in an envelope offering a full refund, which was nice, but I refused it because we got the food and drinks eventually and it was nice and I was more than happy to pay for our order (just over $70!) The milkshakes alone were $9.95 each, so make sure you go with understanding it's expensive compared to other cafes.

I was going to leave a 2 star review, I do not like leaving bad reviews because I have to deal with poor reviews for my employer and it can be very damaging to the business. But is San Churro can manage their orders better and know when to stop taking orders or customers, close the doors for 30 minutes while you catch up is going to be better for the business than to take customers you can't service. You also have to stop telling customers it's because you are understaffed it's not our problem and I do not need to know that, tell me when I am getting my order or ask me if I want to cancel my order. I would have cancelled the order if I had the chance.

3 stars is fair for our experience, one for the food, one for cleanliness of the cafe and one for the offer of the refund and making an effort to improve the situation.

You can do better and I'm sure you want to, sorry for the not so great review, I'm just...

I came in today at 1.29pm with my 9 year old for a mother/daughter date. I ordered a ham & cheese toastie with a small coffee, a brownie with extra whipped cream & sprinkles, mini strawberry milkshake and an OG Croffle with white chocolate dipping sauce spending $38.71. My daughter had never been there before and it was a special treat for both of us. We were having the best time, she loved the toastie and she only had 2 bites of her brownie before she announced that she needed the bathroom.

As a single mother, leaving the table with so much food made me anxious but she really had to go and could not hold it. I escorted her to the bathroom, urged her to be quick. We were away from the table for approximately 2 minutes. when we came back, my daughters brownie, my Croffle that i had not touched, my coffee that was untouched and the milkshake(half drunk) were already taken away. We were both devastated. As a single mother in an unfamiliar place, i had no choice but to take her to the bathroom. I suffer from social anxiety and did not feel like i could speak up confidently while we were there asking where our food and drinks went. I paid Via card at the counter, i was told i could use my receipt to claim points if i made an account online. My reciept was on the table and now i can not do that. I have tried calling san churro 3 times to speak with the manager but i keep getting hung up on.

Today has left a sour taste in my daughters mouth and does not want to go back. I am a low income earner, trips like these are uncommon for us and i am very dissapointed in what feels like a...
