Went for lunch at this place the citrus club. Extremely glad I did. Went with a close mate that had been there a few weeks before. The business had moved to where they are now and its the best prime location a business could be. Well we were looked after straight away and shown to our seats as we booked a table. They gave us the right amount of time to talk and also look over to decide what we wanted.

the food came in a good amount of time, the taste sensations on the palette was amazing. The flavours of all the ingredients worked well together and the heat as a base was perfect for someone that can handle a mild approach. I will get hotter next time cause I am a glutton for heat. As people that know my reviews I only rate excellent or terrible, I don't worry about the mediocre places. Best Mexican I have had in a long long time. Will 200% go back again, and mostly likely again and again. This is how good this was.

The staff were really nice, well mannered and also gave you space to enjoy your meal. At first it was a little noisy, no fault of there as everyone was talking, as the food came out, it slowly was silenced with moans of enjoyment. There were many comments about how good it tasted. That's one way to know how good it really was. 1000% percent thumbs up to the staff, chefs and to the amazing food we had. Thank you for an awesome...

We came her last Sunday for lunch, we arrived at 1, an hour before closing. The restaurant was completely empty inside and two tables were taken outside. We were seated immediately and were ready to order quickly, being mindful of their time. We flagged down a waitress at 1:15, she took our drink order and said she would come back for food, despite us saying we were ready to order. We were served one drink and 15 mins later were still waiting on coffee and waiting to order food . Finally the waitress came back, we proceeded to order the bbq jackfruit bowl, but were told they didn’t have that, we then picked a different veg option, which they didn’t have either, we tried for a third option, just a salad, which they also were all out of, we are vegetarians and picked this place based on the many options in the menu. After wasting 30 minutes we had to leave and try to go somewhere else, although most places had now closed up, the staff were not apologetic enough about this huge inconvenience. If you are out of half your menu, you must tell people before they sit down and wait for 30 mins. Terrible service and complete lack of consideration, an...

Usually have an extreamly good experience here at citrus, but today wasn't one of those days

We ordered our food before a couple customer who arrived a fair while after we did, and yet their food came before ours, I believe our server didn't put our order in until we asked them how much longer the food will be (at this point it has been roughly 45 minutes after our order)

After we asked the lady she said "they're making it now" so about another half hour later we finally got our food.

Food is usually really good here, our DIY breakfast tacos were great, but the kids French toast was super tough to cut into.

We were let down again when our companions ordered Eggs on toast, which was one peice of sourdough toast and 1 egg, when asked why it was so small the lady put it through as "extras" not a full meal, and when asked if they could rectify the order she didn't offer fix it on their behalf and wanted to charge us again when it was their mistake to begin with

lack of care was prominent today, very disappointing compared to our usual...

WE HAVE MOVED Went last night to citrus club in Yeppoon and introduced a few family members to this type of food. Taste buds were set alight. The food was exceptional. Potatas bravos was yummy and highly recommended as a starter. The fried chicken tacos were just too die for with flavours abound. The most memorable eating experience happened to be the pulled pork and cheese quesadillas. Just wow, the flavours were there and they were fresh and hot. Good pricing with good service. Wasnt waiting long for food or drink. The staff were very helpful and the business in COVID full swing. Oh and if you are looking for something to drink you really must try the espresso caramel cocktail. Yummy and went down extremely well. Only downfall of the whole experience was having to yell when talking due to the loud music being played. This is the norm down the beach with loud music blasting. I am just old and don't like screaming at my friend's lol. Cheers big ears

Vegan options! Visited: 22 April 2024 We went on a Monday morning around 10.30am. The Cafe was very quiet and our drinks and food arrived quickly. The vegan options are labelled on the menu. Vegan Brunch Bowl - this was very nice. Swapped non-vegan item to mushroom. The flavours in this meal were so good and the rice was cooked perfectly. Vegan avo toast - fresh avo. It was nice. Bread could probably have been toasted longer. Hashbrowns - yum. We did try to order a kids acai bowl but they were not available at the time. Plenty of free parking within walking distance. Pram friendly venue. Friendly staff. Very affordable pricing. Pros: Vegan options labelled on menu, Pram friendly

I never really write bad reviews and feel bad for this one. My partner ordered the mushroom and cheese quesadilla for $18 (and silly us because it was obviously in the name) but it was just that, for $18 we expected maybe a bit of beans, salad or salsa in it. And while my meal was delicious it was pretty small for $23 and the salad was $15 for a couple of scoops of corn. Entrées were great though and the cocktails were divine! The staff and service was great, just not very filling for the money you pay.
