Jolt Bakery Cafe Yeppoon — Restaurant in Yeppoon

I recently visited Jolt Cafe and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is good - across the road from the ocean and waterfront, making it a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a coffee with sea breezes.

The coffee itself was nice - I ordered a medium Vanilla Latte on Almond Milk, which cost $7.50. While the taste was good, I felt the price was a bit on the high side. That said, the menu looked pretty solid with a good variety of options, including some gluten-free choices, which is always a plus.

The staff were polite and efficient, though not particularly friendly or engaging. It would have been nice to feel a bit more of a welcoming vibe, but they got the job done.

Parking is available out front, but it can get busy and finding a spot nearby might take a little patience, especially during peak times. It’s clearly a popular spot with both locals and holidaymakers, which speaks to its appeal.

Came in plenty of staff. Third in line ordered my coffee. It took 10 minutes for Any staff member to get on that coffee machine and start making orders by then there was 8 orders. I noticed staff having non work related conversations buggerimg around not working at all. Not one of them. Washing jugs just stuffing around. When coffee was given to me was not spoken to and the coffee was that hot I couldn’t hold it. (The girl doing the milk wasn’t even making it. Just leaving the milk jug on the machine with the spout in it and continuing having her personal conversation. No themometer...

This is our go to with the family. Rating based over 3 visit. Service - good to above average, for example waitress bringing over a jug of water with glasses for each patron without asking. Meal wait time has always been ecceptable and quality of food is awesome. Coffee has always been constantly good and they make the best baby chino my kids have every had. Cleaness could improve, but overall not bad. Great location and dog friendly. Value for money is great. I'll definitely be heading back...
