Big Daddy — Restaurant in Gemeinde Schwechat

WARNING - FRAUD!!!!!!!! Aug. 20, 2022 we ate at Big Daddy and paid with my Visa card. The amount was around $15 euros. I didn’t ask for the receipt. When we got home, my Visa had 3 charges of $1155.86 for that date for a business called NTLrest servsafe. I investigated and this company does food safety certification courses for restaurant workers. Interestingly, the $15 charge for our breakfast has not appeared on my Visa statement even a month later! I have tried numerous times to get ahold of the management of Big Daddy at the airport but the phone goes unanswered. Either the restaurant management is in on this fraudulent scheme or they have a very dishonest employee. If management is reading this review, it would be an idea to check who was working the morning of August 20. It was a girl at the cash with darker skin and black hair. I remember that I had a bit of trouble with the machine and she turned it around and reset it - hmmmm. I would recommend if you eat at this establishment that you pay with cash, so this doesn’t happen to you! If you pay with a card, make sure you get your receipt! As an aside, we only ate half of our food, as it was very tasteless...

We ordered the chicken cheeseburger with a side of fries. The chicken is supposedly grilled but didn't taste or look like it. I'm guessing these are frozen patties that they grill lines on....the burger was mediocre and not worth the €12.50 price. The fries were too salty and cost €7.90. They do give you a lot of fries but it's still not worth the price. It also took them a long time to prepare our order. This place even has the nerve to charge 90 cents for ketchup, mayonnaise and other condiments. The packet of ketchup isn't even enough for all the fries. As if that weren't enough, they ask for a tip when you pay with a credit or debit card. They get away with this nonsense because they're in an airport with very few options. Still, I'd recommend choosing a sandwich or poke before paying for this crap. Your other option is eating at the Burger King before going...

This and -almost all the other restaurants- in this terminal should be considered illegal towards customer rights. Charges extra for small things THEY ask if you need (sauces, cheese) without giving notice that they cost extra, you end up paying 6e more when they add up. The picture in the menu doesn't stand for the product at all, so they basically lure in customers for the lowest quality burger. The quality is super low for this price.

!!So many people trip over the mats at the "playground" whose borders stand out of the ground and whose edges are nit highlighted! I saw many people almost drop they food tripping there.

Do not support this business, sadly i do not know the procedure to report customer...
