SAKANA — Restaurant in Graz

I recently visited Sakana, an Asian restaurant with a welcoming ambience and friendly staff. Their food menu is diverse and impressive, showcasing a range of culinary delights from the East.

I was particularly pleased with the Veggie Rolls. Not only were they flavorful, but their size was surprisingly large, adding immense value to the order. Each bite was an explosion of taste, testament to the freshness and quality of the ingredients used. If you're a fan of sushi, these rolls are definitely something to look forward to.

On the other hand, the Veggie Poke Bowl was a tad underwhelming. It lacked the characteristic punch of flavors I was expecting, and it felt a little bit flat in comparison to the rest of the offerings. This, however, might be down to personal preference.

Despite the minor disappointment with the poke bowl, I would still recommend Sakana for the Veggie Rolls alone. With just a few tweaks, I'm confident that their poke bowls could match the high standard of their other dishes. Looking forward to revisiting soon and seeing what else they...

We were there, we ordered sushi, sushi is good. We ordered curry, nothing like on the menu picture, it was yellow, tasteless, more like Indian Curry but made by amateur.

Waiter claimed the chef is japanese, but I’ve told him that kind of curry will NEVER be seen in Japan and attitude will be much better than in that restaurant. Chef didn’t come to talk over things. They didnt discount the dish or wrote it off, instead there was only my drink put off the bill. 16e vs 3e … The waiter took the plate with half of food as well off the table, which is unheard of.

Some might argue why did you eat it at all, simply because I was hungry and food is still food, but not such a bad one at such a price.

Simply focus on sushi and discontinue other things you know you are bad at. One thing we shouldnt allow when it comes to food...
