One of the last places in Graz with free spots to watch the Football Match. We asked at the entrence if they serve food, cause we wanted to have dinner. The guy told us yes of course. Once we are inside and we saw the food menu, we were a little disappointed. They only sell empanadas, which is totally fine, you don't need a full menu at a pub. But if you tell us that you serve dinner, we obviously felt a bit betrait. Anyway it was too late and the match was about to start in 15 minutes so we just stayed and ordered from the menu. The server was literally at our table tiping the order into the system right next to us. 30 minutes into the game some of our food came. Not one of our group received exactly what they ordered. If you have an allergy you actually will die in this pub. Cause no one of us knew what we were eating. After one full hour of waiting for the nachos we asked if they maybe forgot about it, she said she will bring them out. Than she brought one platter out even we ordered 2. We asked for the other one she said oh OK, and brought the second one 85 minutes into the game out . No apology no nothing after we waited almost two hours to get all the food we ordered and it still came out wrong. Tv wasn't working for a short time either, could be the weather so I don't really want to say anything about that. We were just annoyed and disappointed. Probably will...
Read moreI don't think there's any other pub in Graz where you can experience the soul of Ireland with such heart. From the priceless, cool, well-tapped Guinness, which is probably one of the best in the city. (It's totally worth the price, Michael.) To the wide selection of whiskeys, beers, and finger food. Which is the best thing you can share with friends, besides the laughter and memories you can make together here. Not to mention the broadcasts of Gaelic football, hurling, and other sports. I haven't been able to watch this sport anywhere else. And if you're not so sporty, the pub offers a selection of board games, chess of course, and on quieter evenings you might even find yourself playing a game with one of the waiters. The team at Dublin Roads is top-notch in any case; their warmth and hospitality make you feel like you're in good hands every time and you look forward to your next visit. And if you ever find yourself in a pub on a Wednesday, look forward to live music that will almost make you forget you're in continental Europe and not Ireland. And for those of you who like to show off your knowledge, a word pub quiz. And finally, the most important thing for me: nachos. For me personally, the nachos at Dublin Roads share first place as the best nachos...
