Le Crobag — Restaurant in Innsbruck

Went this morning around 11:45am (14 Nov 24), really good baguette roll, unfortunately the service was very poor. The lady did say ‘hello’ but as soon as I speak English, she stopped speaking, started to ignore me and was chatting with her colleague. I asked how much and how can I pay? She only point with her finger at the card machine, I tapped and the card actually declined, so I had to insert it on my own, waited to ensure the payment goes through. She didn’t even realised the payment hasn’t gone through and I could’ve just walked away!

I appreciate there is a language barrier and frankly she doesn’t need to speak English as I also don’t speak German, but a smile and some friendliness is a universal language ;)

Would be good if the staff wears a name tag, so when you get good/bad feedback, you know exactly who we are...

Very bad service, the staff has no patience at all. I said I needed two croissants and a muffin, she only gave me one croissant. I reminded her that I wanted two and she got very impatient and rolled her eyes at me. (No greeting or telling you where to pay, the bread is just thrown on the table, very rude. Every single time I grab a cup of coffee, I‘m impressed by how genuinely friendly and funny the bearded employee is. Please give that guy a raise – there‘s no way I could be this polite and bubbly whilst dealing with grumpy travelers all day. Coffee‘s quite decent and reasonably priced.
