Excellent venue, one of the clear highlights and most attractive sights in Klagenfurt. It's situated in the heart of the inner city and surrounded by the other most popular attractions (Lindwurm, goldene Gans, Wörthersee Manderl, Landhaus). Though there are many other cafés in walking distance to check out, Phoenix book café will also please ordinary muggles. Harry Potter fans and wizards in training, however, will absolutely love it there. The staff is nice and the venue is decorated so beautifully that it's almost overwhelming for the real Harry Potter fanatic. Plan enough time for checking out every corner of the café and don't forget to look at the windows in the passageway left of the main entrance! Food is good as well and not that overpriced. Definitely try the pumpkin juice and the real and authentic butterbeer! It tastes so much better than in London or Orlando! I was also positively surprised by the general price range of the merchandise sold there. It's not more expensive than in London or Orlando or at Elbenwald, EMP etc. If you want to be safe, book a table before you go because it's a real tourism magnet. We went during the week but even then it filled up pretty fast around 3pm.

This is definitely a place for Harry Potter fans! I was pleasantly surprised by so many details, such as Harry Potter related signs and posters at toilets. Someone has put some energy into this. Or maybe it was a snowball effect of adding more and more details to the place. Another amazing thing I saw is a robotic vacuum cleaner - it has a broom stack to the top of the vacuum cleaner. So when it runs around, it looks like the broom is swiping the floor. Too bad I didn't see it in action. The sides of the café are covered by shells full of Harry Potter merch. I liked that any faculty fan would choose. The offer of the café is quite sweet and I had a problem to choose something, e.g. a simple water with lemon. And also too bad that the place doesn't have AC.

We ran into this cafe. What a great and unexpected find! It was such a treat to be here. This cafe is Harry Potter themed and as a HP fan it was such a treat to be here. It felt like being part of the order of the Phoenix ofcourse. This cafe has a lovely menu, HP related. Try the birthday cake Hagrid made for Harry for example and take a seat in one of the wonderful seating options. But this cafe is also a shop with lots of HP merchandise. And ofcourse, there are (HP) books. Most books are in German, but there's also an English section. There's a bookshelf with books you can treasure to read while you're in the shop Definitely worth a visit!

Marvellous, magical, adorable little place in the historic city center. Knowledgeable Potterhead staff, original merchandise, and inspired nourishments. Lovely decor with lots of cozy nooks for book- and coffee lovers alike. Lots of magical artifacts available for purchase. Absolutely worth a visit, I'd even argue that it's worth coming to Klagenfurt just to visit the Phoenix (and to stay and discover the city). Highly recommended!

Nice little café in the middle of Klagenfurt. If you are a Harry Potter fan, you should really visit. We had a light lunch on the terras. Nothing special, but good quality. The fruitdrinks are delicious. Inside it's almost looks like a tiny Harry Potter museum where you can buy lots of cute merchandise from Harry Potter or Fantastic Beasts. Beside the HP merch, they have more fun magic stuff to buy.
