Front Food — Restaurant in Linz

The last meal ( lunch ) in Linz had to be at a vegan place. We were searching on google & came across this small little vegan joint near Hauptplatz. It is located in a quiet lane near a church . Mondays are bundays! They have a burger @subsidised rate every Monday. They also serve wraps , bowls, cupcakes etc . We had the Monday special burger…which was very simple so we ordered some barbecue sauce ( at an extra cost!)to go along with it. The other burger & falafel bowl were both tasty . Vegan cold coffee is ok. All in all a good place to try vegan food, Seating indoors & outdoors is quite good.They have delivery...

Located in the city center of Linz, 'Front Food' offers an amazing alternative for any ordinary fast food restaurant with the huge benefit of providing a vegan menu. But that doesn't mean it's for vegans only -in fact most of my friends and family aren't vegan & they still love going there because the food's just so good & so far I've only ever had nice experience with the staff. I can highly recommend this place, due to its easy-going atmosphere and the fact that the food there's freshly prepared & cooked is something I really appreciate these days. Definitely go...

Meine Rezession August 2024:

Das Team hat meine negativen Punkte nun ausgemerzt, die ich vor 5 Jahren noch hatte (steriler Essbereich). Mittlerweile ist es schön grün geworden da drinnen, und es wurde auch ein wenig dekoriert. Auch gibt es mittlerweile eine Bestellstation beim Eingang, wo man auch ohne Menschenkontakt ordern kann, falls erwünscht.

Die Kost ist mehr als bloß lecker, und mein absoluter Geheimtipp: Currysoße dazubestellen! You won't regret!!!

Meine Rezession vor 5.Jahren:

Super Lokal mit netter Bedienung.

Die Burger etc. sind natürlich vom Preis her höher angelegt als ihre fleischigen Konkurrenten. Was man aber gerne bereitwillig zahlt, nachdem es wirklich gut schmeckt und man dabei nachhaltig gesehen kein schlechtes Gewissen haben muss.

Sogar das Verpackungsmaterial ist zu 100% abbaubar.

Der Grund warum ich nur vier Sterne vergab anstatt der vollen Punktzahl betrifft den Essbereich. Der zwar sehr sauber daherkommt (wie der Rest des Lokals, eingenommen der Toiletten) aber jedoch zu steril wirkt. Keine Bilder, keine Pflanzen oder sonstiges... Es wirkt mir persönlich zu leer und zu unpersönlich. Deshalb werde ich mir meine Kost sobald es wieder wärmer ist, lieber mit raus nehmen als sie drinnen zu...
