The Schweinebraten I ordered was simply excellent - tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The accompanying side dishes complemented the dish beautifully, and the portion size was generous. The beer selection was impressive, and I must say, the brews were super tasty. They perfectly complemented the flavors of the food and added to the overall dining experience. Speaking of food, the Asparagus Cordon Bleu was another winner. It was a delightful twist on a classic dish, and the flavors were superb. The asparagus was cooked just right, and the cheese and ham filling inside the crispy breaded chicken was simply mouthwatering. The restaurant has a lovely Biergarten on Linz, and what a delightful spot it is! The ambiance was charming, and it was a pleasure to dine in such a beautiful setting. Plus, it's conveniently located near Hauptplatz, making it easily accessible for both locals and visitors. The service at this restaurant deserves a special mention. The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient. They made sure we felt welcome from the moment we walked in, and our orders arrived surprisingly quickly. We truly appreciated the prompt service without feeling rushed. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good dining experience. The excellent Schweinebraten, super beer, and tasty Asparagus Cordon Bleu will leave you satisfied, and the Biergarten provides a lovely atmosphere to enjoy your meal. Don't miss out on this gem!

Great traditional Austrian Wirtshaus in Linz! The menu is concise, but has everything it needs. I ordered a schnitzel, which came with potatoes, a salad and a side of Preiselbeeren. Everything tasted fresh, delicious and the pint of Linzer beer from the nearby brewery paired quite nicely. And even though I was there during the lunch rush, the service was friendly and fast. The only down side to my entire visit: I was seated near the back door. This usually wouldn't be a problem but over the course of the visit, at least 4 people came through and smoked cigarettes outside right next to the back door. Each time the smoke filtered inside and permeated the entire back room. Rather unpleasant as a non smoker.

Have you ever wondered where to eat traditional Austrian food? And also the best place in Linz to chat and also eat really good? Well, this is the place for you. Every time here we come back and I can guarantee that coming here is the best choice in Linz. Thank you for the kind service and the attention to tourists, speaking English and cook special food!

Jo – is scho recht sagte sie lachend.
