This place is fantastic. Excellent loungers to sunbathe (although I wish they did fully recline), a pretty comprehensive bar and food menu (minus one star as no English translation), and a bloody freezing pool for a dip on the ground floor. Great music also played: not too loud but great for background. Mix of pop, rock and classics. Would defo return.

Eating on a barge, very popular place with the younger generation. Self-service. Drink and food prices are reasonable but found it rather funny that once we ordered food at the bar, we were told to then go down to the kitchen in 10 minutes to collect it. Rather heavy but we got it back to our table safely and it was very enjoyable.

It would be a perfect summer getaway if only they haven't lied about temperature of the water in the pool being 21 degrees celsius. Instead it was freezing cold. Also, the clique running the bar would benefit from showing a little less attitude and a lot more hospitality and kindness. Smiling doesn't hurt either.

Very nice pool & atmosphere in the city centre but 2 stars due to really poor service. You need order the food & collect it yourself from the kitchen. That's no big deal, but the guy working in the kitchen is pretty unpleasant and has a bad concept of hygiene / customer service. Another customer had accidentally taken the wrong meal and came back later to the kitchen to take the correct dish. The guy working there then actually handed me this other person's old meal and expected me to take it ... parts of this meal had been clearly eaten by the other customer and therefore was not really hygienic or appetising. When I politely asked for a new dish - which just took 2 extra minutes to prepare - he got very grumpy and passive aggressive, complaining. What a...

Once a favourite spot in Vienna is no longer of any use - for anyone who is not into urban football at least. The water in the pool is freezing cold, since they “parked” the pool under the football cage. And by freezing cold i don’t mean refreshing in the heat - you go in and litterally don’t feel your body parts any more. It doesn’t matter how hot it gets outside it just can’t warm up - since it’s always in the shade. Not to mention the noise coming from the cage above and the ball hitting against it all the time. It might still be an ok spot to grab a drink and lie in the sunchairs, but whoever remembers Badeschiff free of any football cages from a few years ago will certainly not be able to recommend this...
