Spending a good amount of money on regular food is frustrating. Not sure if I was unlucky with the plate, but the fact that they have an actual main plate that is just crispy chicken with a piece of lime - mine didn’t come with the a sauce I saw in other pictures here (€23,90 total). It really bothered me. I had to order extra side of jam and cooked potato to make it a meal (€6,50). So in total I paid €30 for crispy chicken (was not bad, but was a regular millaneaise chicken), jam (good, but regular jam) and cooked whole potatoes with no flavor at all (no salt, no taste, no nothing). I felt stolen and very disappointed on the plate I ordered. Again, maybe I was just unlucky for choosing this plate but you expect for this price to be something above average. My husband got a salad, very simple as well, €21. We wanted to insist and check if at least the dessert would be good, as shown in many pictures we saw in google reviews. Unlike the pictures, there was no jam and just one fruit in the middle of the plate €11. The little cake was good (honestly anything with chocolate is good), as well the mango ice cream, but I felt insulted. Won’t come back again and don’t recommend. That’s why I’m spending my time warning anyone who will give this place their trust (7k reviews and 4.8 stars?). Don’t order the chicken plate as you will pay a lot for something that is just regular. Was not very impressed by the service, as many mentioned here, but I have to admit the food came pretty fast. Besides that, everything was normal and regular, not proportional to their prices. No special sauce, no soul, no taste. Regular. I feel the chef needs to rearrange the menu and make some better choices. Maybe that’s just the way Vienna’s food is and I’m not used to it, but good luck if you have good taste. Compare my dessert to the same others presented here. Compare my chicken with others, some of them have a sauce I didn’t even know about. My food was dry and with no taste. I’m mad with myself for spending money here. Ah, they asked for tip on the credit machine (fine, but given the experience, felt worse). Maybe they’re declining, I don’t...
Read moreWe had an exceptional dining experience at Restaurant Vienne Onur Chefs in Vienna! From start to finish, the service, ambience, and quality of the food were truly outstanding.
I ordered the classic Viennese schnitzel, which was perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. My wife opted for the rigatoni pasta, which was hearty, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. For dessert, we indulged in the famed Sachertorte and apple strudel, both of which were sublime. We also shared a bottle of Austrian Sauvignon Blanc, which was delicious.
Our waiter, Shokh, was wonderful—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. His impeccable service and friendly demeanour added to the charm of the evening.
I’m also so glad we made a reservation! The restaurant was bustling, and we noticed many hopeful diners being turned away. Clearly, this place is very popular, and for good reason.
The only minor hiccup was the jasmine rice. As someone from Singapore with a Chinese palate, I’m admittedly quite particular about my rice. 🤣 It could have been fluffier and had a better texture—perhaps a rice cooker would do wonders for it. That said, this was a small detail in an otherwise flawless evening.
Overall, Restaurant Vienne Onur Chefs is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and memorable culinary experience in Vienna. We’ll definitely be back on...

We started with the Carpaccio à la Vienne, which was beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, delicate flavors. For the main course, the Original Wiener Schnitzel was absolutely outstanding—perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, accompanied by sides that elevated the dish to perfection. The Dry Aged Rib-Eye Steak was another highlight, cooked to perfection and served with truffle mayonnaise and flavorful grilled vegetables.
Dessert was a masterpiece! The Wiener Sachertorte lived up to its legendary reputation—rich, moist, and perfectly balanced. We also tried the Hausgemachter Apfelstrudel, which was warm, comforting, and a true taste of Vienna.
The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance of the restaurant was elegant yet welcoming, making it the perfect setting for an intimate meal or a special celebration.
