Baschly — Restaurant in Vienna

Yummy food and coffee and great service! The place is situated in the WU Campus and we were there on a Thursday afternoon so it was not crowded at all. I was happy to see they have lactose free milk so both my boyfriend and I went for a coffee. I chose the iced coffee and it was delicious. When it comes to food, I picked shakshuka and my boyfriend chose an avocado toast with scrambled eggs, beef bacon and salad on the side. Shakshuka was amazing! So full of flavour, definitely the best one I've had so far. I'd totally recommend Baschly to anyone looking for a delicious...

Unfortunately the experience was a mixed bag for me today. The food was good, the options on the menu looked quite nice as well and its a nice spot for lunch... but, in my humble opinion, it took way too long to even get drinks served - let alone the food. There was a mix-up with one order and one drink we ordered was actually never even served. All that can and will happen from time to time, but I never had the feeling that they were sorry or tried, rather that nobody really cared too much.

Might've just been a bad day, but I think for me it was...

Food good but service really bad, it took 20 minutes to get served and when I finally got my food the waiter served it without taking away the dirty plates of the previous guests.

And all this with the place mostly empty, waiter just couldn’t give a damn - walking around at a snails pace with a look on his face like the world is about to end.

I have lived in Austria for 6 years, used to lower quality service but this really is the worst I’ve seen.

Maybe the owners should go to the nearby...
