Santo - typisch dominikanisch — Restaurant in Vienna

I am a NYC native who stayed in Vienna for almost a year. As much as I enjoyed the local cuisine, I found the city to be lacking in accessibility to Latin/Caribbean food. Das Restaurant -welches aus Containern gebaut wurde - befindet sich recht unscheinbar am Eingang zum Prater. Das Personal war recht freundlich allerdings mehr mit sich selbst beschäftigt als mit dem Gast. Was uns beide sehr gestört hat, war die Tatsache, dass beide KellnerInnen irrsinnig krank waren und auch genauso zur Arbeit kamen und noch lautstark darüber gesprochen haben, dass sie sich nicht erholen und haben die ganze Zeit herumgehustet; wohlgemerkt ohne Maske, was wir gerade in Zeiten wie diesen als unverantwortlich erachten. Abgesehen davon war es im Innenraum ganz schön hergerichtet und es gibt ne riesige Terrasse mit Sonnenplätzen. Die Speisekarte bietet typische Gerichte dieses Landes und war ansprechend. Die von uns bestellten Speisen waren geschmacklich in Ordnung, jedoch nicht besonders herausragend und ziemlich fett, was wir beide danach deutlich spüren konnten. If you looking for a typical Dominicans that the place, I was last Sunday there at 1st outside than inside because it was raining. Lovely people, tasty food ( just be aware Caribbean’s and Latinos are party people). Just felt good. Inside wasn’t disturbing the music we could talk and outside dance. Perfect...
