Café Aera — Restaurant in Vienna

This place is heaven. Not only is the food scrumptious, but the staff is also gorgeous, majestic, kindhearted, smart, hardworking, patient, inspiring to be better, beautiful angels. Moreover, the restaurant is gorgeous too, chairs are very comfortable to sit on, it’s almost like sitting on a throne with a breathtaking view on the kingdom, however instead of kingdom there is the view on a wonderful dishes that are made perfectly and give literal chills with their taste. I’ve had the chance to experience eating such invigorating pasta with pesto and on everyone’s souls including mine that were the best pesto in the whole multiverse, in every timeline. On the same note, I can assert that the Viennese Schnitzel is immaculate. From now on, I will never stop dreaming about this place and I’m 100% sure that if I had to sell my soul to eat there again, I would do it without any hesitation. Sending my unconditional and the most genuine love ❤️ to chefs, staff and the owner. I will send hundred of air kisses to all of you every night until I die (actually I won’t stop even if I die)....

The waiters are attentive, friendly and the food is great! :) I especially like the variety of food Aera serves. There's italian cooking like pizza or pasta as well as more traditional austrian dishes. The chicken salad with pineapple and bread is a personal favourite. Aera offers vegetarian dishes that aren't just edible - they are actually good food that even I sometimes go for.

There's desert. (Pancakes!) And a great breakfast selection that the cook keeps refusing to prepare for me after noon. Maybe because it says so on the menu. On weekends and special holidays breakfast is served until the afternoon, just to spite me. I'm sure.

I have been going there for years and plan to continue doing so. Great place, great food, great staff. :)

p.s. It's generally better to order small dishes. The regular portion...

Looking for a nice place very close to the inner city but not overrun by tourists? My experience was really good and I have to say the service was really great. The ladies are super attentive without being overly fake friendly as we know it in the United states. They get you what you need and get it to you fast. I've been there two times back to back and it was the same from different folks. The food is great. You can also get a variety of coffees. Beer. Theres even a performance venue in the basement for comedy and music. It gets pretty crowded during lunch and dinner hours I believe but in between it's great to chill. I had eiernockerl, schnitzel, beer, Melange ( the official name for a nice coffee with milk in Austria), in my 2 visits. Yummy yummy and the prices...
