Very disappointing experience!

Visited The Pavillion this afternoon and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. When the downpour started, several of us moved from the outdoor seating to seek shelter. Instead of accommodating us, the staff repeatedly told us to leave because they were hosting a private party, which we get, but it felt quite unwelcoming.

Service was poor throughout. I initially ordered a vegetarian quiche for my mother but was served one with bacon. The waiter took it back without much of an apology. Later, when I did order a bacon quiche for myself, he returned with one that had clearly already been served — likely the same one I had previously sent back — without even confirming.

To top it off, despite the service issues, I was still pressured to leave a tip.

The only saving grace was the scenic location and the lady who owns or manages the place — she seemed attentive. Sadly, that wasn’t enough to redeem the...

We (two adults and three children) enjoyed our lunch on the beautiful terrace of Café Pavillon in the gorgeous park of Schloss Schönbrunn. We loved the fact that the parasols providing shade were also equipped with a misting system to keep us cool on this hot spring day.

We enjoyed the home made lemonade, which was served in a carafe of half a liter. I ordered a quiche and a salad which were very good. The salad was so big that we had enough to share. This really is a nice place to go for a light lunch.

The service was friendly and efficient. The toilet is situated in a separated building, but was very clean and...

Meal was €75 with tip for 2 We had 2 beers, 2 ice coffee, 2 toasties and 2 cakes plus salad and crisps (actual crisps not chips). Service was prompt and friendly, a lovely spot with parasols spraying misted water, got here about 1:15 or so and it was nice and quiet, good place to chill out after the house Toastie was nothing special but nice Austrian ham, cakes were lovely and iced coffee was fresh and cooling just like the beer!
