Fantastic Place.
The person who served us, whom I assume is the owner is amazing. He's kind, courteous, and friendly. Just a genuinely pleasant dining experience all around.
We told him we were sharing and he separated the dish for us and brought us sharing plates for both mains we ordered. Absolutely incredible service. Felt increadibly welcomed and at home.
The food were also incredible. I don't know if they are authentic Viennese cuisine, but they are genuinely good, well made, well seasoned food made with love and attention that you would not regret eating.
We ordered the salmon and Salma. Both were fantastic, especially the salmon! For clarification, the Sarma comes in pairs, but because they separated it for us, it is one in the picture.
Absolutely recommend if you're finding something outside Vienna's city centre!

Read moreAmazing experience, the owner meets you at the door. We came in late and were the only people there. His dad does the cooking and his mom was there as well. We had the schnitzel and the stuffed cabbage. Both were excellent and huge portions. They even whipped up a gravy for my wife (didn’t know what gravy was but made a damn good one for not knowing). We also tried his homemade punch one with cognac and one with rum both were very tasty. Had nice conversation with the owner throughout the meal. You can tell he wants you to have a great experience. They had nice little decorations for Christmas. A great place for an excellent meal at a very reasonable price considering the potion size and quality.
We didn’t make it back for a second visit since our trip was so short but if we’re ever back in Vienna we will go and drink...

Je commande un second verre de vin pour patienter, et, au bout de 20 minutes, je demande des explications au serveur. Le chef de cuisine ne répond pas au téléphone en dépit de cinq appels. Il a des problèmes de famille, m'a-t-il dit. Las d'attendre, je décide de quitter l'établissement. Le serveur, pour s'excuser, m'offre les consommations. Le lendemain, je décide de lui rendre la politesse en y allant à nouveau. Accueil froid. Je consulte la carte des menus, le chef de cuisine sans crier gare, m'apostrophe en allemand d'un ton très sec. Le serveur m'explique qu'il ne cuisinera pas pour moi, car il a pris ombrage de mon départ qu'il considère comme un outrage. Je pose la carte des menus et je prends congé. J'ai hésité à remercier le serveur de m'avoir autorisé à m'asseoir. Un tel raffinement ne pouvait se dispenser d'un hommage.
On a Saturday night, I go to this restaurant. I drink a glass of wine as an aperitif. Then I order a vegetable dish - the kind of dish very easy to make. I order a second glass of wine to wait, and after 20 minutes, I ask the waiter for explanations. The chef does not answer the phone despite five calls. He has family problems, he told me.
