Caffe vom See — Restaurant in Vienna

The coffee quality here is one of the best I have had. They have a small menu and only do coffee, but they do it best. I am visiting Vienna for a few days and as a coffee enthusiast, having heard so much about the Viennese coffee culture, I was curious to try things out. Nice looking place - a warehouse is in the coffee house, but it's OK. Nothing special about espresso, but it's fine. I had a bad experience, unfortunately - even if they have a big working desk (looking welcoming for visitors with a laptop) and written signs with rules I was kindly asked to leave after one hour (or order something more). This would be fine if it was clear in advance somehow. But this is not the right. I somehow believe that the guests are not treated equally, so I delete the place...

Super good cafe! We loved our coffee here and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. The service was quick and friendly, there isn’t a huge amount of seating, but mostly you are able to find a nice spot either inside or outside on their terrace. The coffee tasted really good and all kinds were available in iced version as well as normal hot. Also oat milk was free of charge which I really appreciated. Besides that the prices where all really low for Vienna, which surprised us! We are for sure...
