Delicious food, it felt like I was back home. Nice service, friendly staff, I can only recommend. I had the amazing feijoada (really good and such a big portion!!!) and the Falsa Bahiana (a non alcoholic cocktail with lime and holunder) - the perfect mix of Brazil and Austria. Got some pães de queijo and Brazilian sweets as a treat - thank you!! The home made paçoquinha also surprised me! Sooo good!!! Muito obrigada!

Unfortunately, the restaurant has not lived up to my expectations. Having returned recently from Brazil I was craving the rich flavours you can savour there but the food here, despite the high price, lacked that element. Don't get me wrong, it was good, just not good enough.

Restaurante con comida típica Brasileña. El caipiriña estaba rico pero lo pedimos de Maracuya y solo sabía a limón. Los entrantes estaban my ricos (yuca frita, Pão de queijo y los cuadritos de tapioca) Era la primera vez que probaba feijoada entonces no tengo punto de referencia pero no fue mi favorito. El Vatapá tenía rico sabor a mar y leche de coco pero la textura se sentían como escamas de pez, nada agradable. El restaurante es bien pequeño, solo 3 mesas y en verano hace muchos calor adentro. El menú es muy pequeño siempre tienen feijoada y varían otro plato principal con la variación para vegetarianos.

If you feel like a vacation for an evening, preferably to Brazil, carioca is your places. Named after the inhabitants of Rio de Janeiro, this tiny place brings Brazil to Vienna. They serve some Brazilian all time favourites for food such as pão de queijo and feijoada along with arguably the best caipirinhas in town. Try the caipirinha with jambu version for a literally numbing taste of the Amazon. Not suitable for large groups though as they literally have 3-4...

Aaaaand I have a new favourite place! Highly recommended, nice and small place with extraordinary flavour and great service. If what you want is to try new drinks, their Fio Maravilha and Aguas de Março is what you are looking for, they are spot on!
