Casa Borbone — Restaurant in Vienna

Walking to and eating here was one of the highlights of my trip in Vienna!

The best seafood pasta I've had in years! Had the "oomph" factor. The sauces and the ingredients all seemed to blend together to create something greater. Wiped all the remaining sauce with bread! Appetizer (seafood platter?) was very fresh, loved the anchovies in particular. Also got a free mini Arancini :) Loved the quiet vibe of the neighborhood, a bit away from city center, but just as beautiful and even better because it felt more real / local, less touristy I was dining alone outside, but somehow didn't feel that way at all. Had a fantastic time with great view Chef/staff all very friendly A lot of locals seemed to get take out, so you know it's a good place

Would definitely visit again...

Casa Borbone is a delightful Sicilian restaurant in Vienna that truly captures the essence of Italian cuisine. We had eggplant with homemade tomato sauce and Parmigiano cheese, arancini, spaghetti with seafood, and grilled calamari—and everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. And it was refreshing to visit an Italian restaurant without pizza on the menu, allowing the spotlight to stay on authentic Sicilian dishes.

After about one year from their opening, I can safely say that eating at Casa Borbone Is always a delightful experience. Food is authentic and delicious, mixing tradition and innovation like in a modern trattoria. The ingredients are fresh and carefully selected and the passion of the chef can be tasted at every bite, especially when accompanied by the good wine.
