Located around the corner from home, I'll frequent it 3 or 4 times a month at least and am slowly getting a hang of when to go in and when to walk right on by and head for either the Asia Noodle House or the other Döner take-away half a block south.

If there's a lady behind the counter, that would be the owner and you're reasonably safe, if it's her hubby your hope is that he's in a good mood, if it's one of the other employees, be prepared for a dürüm which is hot-red spicy on the one end and boringly bland on the other, or a döner with all the meat tucked away nicely in one small corner. Also, don't assume that, when ordering a döner with everything, to go and not too spicy, the employee will remember any of it except that you're there.
