Faultier Café & Sandwich (树懒咖啡） — Restaurant in Vienna

We sat outside, the owner immediately noticed us, brought us the menus, answered all of our questions about certain items, was very kind and seemed bubbly, the toasts came on the cutest toast shaped plates. The drinks were wonderful and affordable, so were both the savory and sweet toasts (everything was gone by the time I remembered to take a picture, oopsie). They use Japanese milk bread that makes them super soft and pillowy. We were given an extra tangerine during our meal (how sweet is that??). The owner noticed when we were gathering our things to leave and came outside to send us off. It was a 10/10 experience, I wish I could give more stars. A perfect pre-show stop! I visit Faultier Café & Sandwich every time I come to see a show at the Raimund Theater — most recently for the German version of Phantom of the Opera. It's become a tradition because this place never disappoints! The owners are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, and it’s the perfect spot to grab a good coffee and a delicious sandwich before the performance. this was the loveliest cafe to stumble upon on my winter trip to Vienna! I got the hot matcha latte with oat milk which comes in a huge cup and the cheese & ham sandwich. the milk bread is so fluffy and thick and the sandwiches are so filling for such a good price!
